"Such a beautiful home! The space was perfect for my family of 9 with a toddler! Katie and Ed are amazing hosts and give great recommendations! We took day trips, rented a captained boat (highly recommend, Octolounge out of Dewey Beach), went to the beach both at the house and down the street. Katie’s advice on the sand/beach a bit nicer down about a mile was spot on although we did bring chairs down to our beach and it was wonderful! Highly recommend this beautiful home for a nice, quality time family vacation spot!! Thank you Katie & Ed!!"

"Best Relaxing Vacation. The cottage was perfect for our family with enough space for all of us. The beach is a bit stony at low tide but it’s worth it! The beach is a 20 second walk over the dune and the view is amazing. The morning sunrise is Fantastic! We loved it so much we already booked this cottage for next year. The host was lovely and answered all questions quickly. Also there are a ton of board games which made family time!"

"We were thoroughly impressed with this home!!! It exceeded our expectations! The beds were super comfortable. The property was well appointed. We loved having the several “living” rooms. We were drawn to our favorites to read and relax. It was nice to have the library, games, TV’s if we wanted them (we didn’t watch but the kids had brought their gaming system). There was a corn hole/bean bag toss game that we made use of. The art and decorations were a very nice touch. Wonderful having 3 bathrooms too!!! The best part? Being so close to the beach. We collected many shells and rocks and enjoyed seeing the ships at anchor out in the bay. Very close to the nature preserve, a short drive to the AFB and also to town for supplies if needed. We definitely will rent again. The hosts were quick to respond and take care of any questions we had. Also just lovely people!!! Thank you so much for sharing your home!!!! Such a blessing."

"The home was clean and as pictured. Plenty of room for our family of three, plus a large mastiff. We have stayed in a few homes in Slaughter Beach and we thought we would miss the view of the water from the home, but we didn't. It was nice to actually have a little privacy and shade behind the house. Overall, zero complaints and we look forward to staying again.Helen was a pleasure to deal with. In discussion prior to renting, I mentioned to her that my daughter would be turning six the week after our stay, and a couple small gifts were waiting for her when we arrived. The only problem is, my daughter will now be expecting gifts upon arrival at every beach house from this point forward.Thanks for having us, Helen!"

"The property layout is great for a small family. we loved having the private/direct access to the beach. All basic amenities are provided and the furniture and beds were comfortable. We loved the location as you are only 20-30 minutes from many other beaches or the ferry to Cape May. We would stay again."
