We loved staying at the Duisdale House Hotel. Perfect location, right across from the water with a quick path to the beach. The staff were the best. So fun and funny and a joy to be around.

Winter wonderland at Duisdale

The Hotel had been decorated for Christmas and was absolutely beautiful. Food was plentiful, hotel was warm and inviting. Bedroom with four poster bed was spotless with very good facilities including Netflix on TV. Staff very efficient and friendly.

For a beautiful property that appeared to be so sophisticated, the place seemed a little disorganized. They assured us that all was good with our credit card on the bill, yet 2 days later they called us to get payment for dinner.

A nice but expensive place to stay.

We had a really lovely room, spacious, warm, together with a large modern bathroom. We ate a.meal the first night, it was okay but not wonderful. Very poor vegetables and expensive at a set price £38.00 each. Add on expensive wine, a very ordinary one. The bar was nice with a fire, but again prices in the bar on the high side Overall ,the accomodation and breakfasts were good, but the dinner could be improved. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and the setting around the hotel lovely.

Don’t give them visa it’s a trick to get more $$

Booked on hotel.com paid for room then had to pay double the price the next day. They said that my charges were going to be fore extra breakfast cause it only stated one person on the app. That was 15$ per person for breakfast which I agreed to. Then the next morning they charged me 460$ more. I only paid 360$ for the room. They had my visa cause they tricked me the night before to get it.

This was an excellent place to stay but expensive. But worth it as a treat. But the old saying you get what you pay for is certainly applies to this place! The front desk was unbelievable. They took your bags upstairs for you. They catered to every whim. I would definitely recommend this place. The food was excellent.

We stayed two nights at Duisdale and it was a very pleasant time. The staff were courteous, happy to help and knowledgeable. The view was stunning around the grounds. My partner and I brought our dog and they made Cleo very welcome. Finally, the food was excellent.

Building initially looked a little tired however the interior couldn’t be faulted. Very modern, clean and stylish. Comfortable. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate. Only downside was the dinner menu, trying way too hard to be posh. Needs regular food being served

Vackert beläget hotell med fina och fräscha rum. Men lite överpris på mat och dryck. Frukosten var ingen trevlig upplevelse. Servitrisen pratade väldigt högt och lyssnade inte. Hon sprang iväg innan man var klar med ordern. Allt i menyn skulle man beställa och det fanns ingen buffé för att plocka juice och sånt själv. Då hon inte lyssnade fick vi knappt nåt av det vi ville ga.

The property and staff were great, but for the price i expected more, dinner menu limited and very small portions, £5 added to.bill for cheeseboard of which, cheese was very standard. Fresh milk for tea and coffee in the rooms would have been nice. Noise was actually annoying, we could hear people snoring next door and doors slamming at all hours. Hotel of this price i expected more.
