"What once was a spectacular residence, now hotel, has not been maintained. It's too bad as I do believe if you are to acquire this type of building, you should be committed to maintaining it. I was disappointed with my stay. I stayed for two days and my room wasn't cleaned for two days consecutively. After asking the front desk it was cleaned. I think there were bed bugs because I go over 15 bites on my back, arms and hands in one evening, and proceeded to get them over the next two...

"Parking shared with the other hotels, but not an issue. Extra cost for parking (daily). Gym was clean and kit well maintained. Lots of variety at breakfast, a very good spread and fresh hot options always available. A short taxi ride into Ghent (15-20 mins). Would stay again."

"The room was excellent and the bed was probably the comfiest I’ve ever slept on! The buffet breakfast was reasonably good and the gym was fairly well equipped. The location was a little out from the centre but good for the Châtelain market and closer to the lovely park. Staff could perhaps be more engaging / helpful for this level of property. I very much enjoyed Brussels"
