"The cottage we stayed at was clean and absolutely adorable. It had bright but cozy vibes. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. We were only there for one night, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The northern lights were easily seen from the location with the low light pollution."

"Cute historic building, very well maintained and clean with a lot of thoughtful amenities. Everything is clearly labelled and check-in instructions are clear and easy - just make sure your phone has battery. Amenities that were thoughtful are a kitchen with specific drawer and fridge to leave food for future guests, an "honesty" fridge where you can buy snacks/drinks and just pay at the machine at the front desk, and flyers for things to do in the area. They also provided me with a 2200 ISK voucher for Valeria which was super sweet! My room was spotless, as were all common areas. The shower was really nice with good water pressure and my bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning. There's a patio at the end of the hall upstairs with a perfect view of Kirkjufell. The town of Grundarfjordur is also very charming and I would have loved to spend longer there. Beautiful guesthouse in a perfect location! I hope to be back one day."

"Guest house Hof is in a great location for exploring the Snaefelsnes Peninsula, and is surrounded by nature. It's not high end, but it's great for people who want a relatively inexpensive place to stay. Accommodations are simple but everything you need for a stay of a couple days. It's not located near any towns, so bring your own food, etc. They do have breakfast available if you need it. What really makes the place special is Lila, the owner, who made us feel welcome and who was very knowledgeable about places to go and things to see on the Peninsula! With nothing around it, it's a great dark-sky place for viewing the northern lights."

"Clean, modern. Self-checkin offered, hotel within minutes of spectacular cliff walk. Easy parking that gets crowded during the day as many tourists and come to walk the cliff. Easy walking, level walking path. Good restaurant. Lovely view from room with operable window. Quiet. Some staff were lovely; others a bit chilly. Overall a good experience and would recommend as a place to stay while exploring Snaefellsnes Peninsula."
