"Loved the location for the quietness, views of both the sea and the mountain behind us. We also ate dinner at the hotel, and it was very good. Some noise from room next door, but the room was clean and comfortable."

"Very basic room but very clean. We were lucky that the staff was there when we checked in so we did not have to go through the Internet to get in. There’s a nice well equipped kitchen that shared by all the guest. A fridge stove, dishwasher everything you need."

"Top shelf for a guest house.. where rooms do not have a BR. The ONLY complaint is the stairs that you have to use to get to the second floor where guest house is located."

"Great hotel . It’s very close to the ferry (west fjords connection ). Surprisingly the hotel is part of a previous convent/school/hospital . It still has a functioning beautiful church chapel . The hotel is very clean , and the only hotel in our 15 day trek through Iceland that actually provided housekeeping on the second day without asking .Overall beautiful little town close to the national park ."
