This unit was featured as one of the top 10 Airbnb treehouses in the country by Apartmenttherapy and number 1 in Washington by Outside Magazine! The Space: You will build lasting memories at this Romantic Treehouse Escape Among the Woods!
This is your cozy retreat tucked in the trees! Wake up to sunbeams over Mt. Pilchuck, and throughout the day you may spot deer, squirrels, chipmunks, woodpeckers, or even soaring bald eagles. As night falls, listen for the distant calls of coyotes or catch a glimpse of a curious raccoon or owl. It’s pure magic from sunrise to sunset.
Designed for perfection, this one-of-a-kind two-story treehouse offers a non-traditional, romantic floor plan — perfect for a special getaway.
Highlights of The Treehouse:
Main floor: Small kitchenette, cozy living area with stone fireplace, HD TV, futon (perfect for an older child to come along), and a luxurious soaking tub Second floor: High-end queen memory foam bed + a charming child’s sleeping loft (ideal for little adventurers with adult help climbing the custom iron-pipe ladder) Private bathroom: Knotty alder barn door leads to a stylish restroom with pedestal sink and toilet New BBQ grill on the deck for outdoor meals Voice-controlled color-changing lights to set the perfect mood (presets like Savannah Sunset and Arctic Aurora) Although we call it a treehouse, it’s thoughtfully built on posts among the trees — high enough to feel magical, yet safely grounded.
The kitchenette is fully stocked with everything you need for simple meals:
Coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, microwave, mini crockpot, dishes, glasses, and utensils. Many guests rave about the luxury soaking tub — imagine relaxing by the fire, watching your favorite show, and sipping a drink, all without leaving your cozy living space!

For a short day trip, head to Monroe for a movie and many more great restaurants. Feel like trying your luck at a Casino? Tulalip Resort Casino and outlet shopping is just 20 miles away.
In the winter months enjoy Stevens Pass Mountain Ski Resort just 60 miles away.
Great swims can be had year round at the Snohomish Aquatic Center where you will find large pools, slides, a wave ridder, lazy river, wave pool!
The Boeing Main Plant and flight museum is about 21 miles away. We are 52 miles from Seattle International (SeaTac) Airport. We are 21 miles from Paine Field Airport. There is horseback riding and many hiking trails all within 30-40 minutes. One of our favorites is about 35 minutes away called Wallace Falls which is a 2 mile hike to a beautiful waterfall. Blue Boy Golf Course is 14 miles away. High Trek Adventures & Zipline Park is 22 miles.
Getting Around: You will need a car to get around. There is a nice paved bike trail about 6 miles away (Centennial Trail).
Other Things to Note: The treehouse is fully insulated and has heat for year round comfort. We have fans available upon request for the summer but it rarely gets too hot here in the hills. We are at about 600 feet elevation. Our property is on 3 very private acres and surrounded by 100s of acres of state land on two sides. Although the property is private, the main house and treehouse can be seen from each eachother and the main house looks over most of the grounds. Sometimes the surrounding land is used for dirt bikes so you may hear that in the distance. It's rare but we want to tell you it's possible. The grounds offer incredable views and are lit at night. We are high up on a hill and the star gazing from the yard can be quite something on a clear night. You will have full access to walk the park like yard or walk the woods.
Interaction with Guests: Prior to check in you will be given the keyless entry code. From the time you arrive, we will completely respect your privacy and leave you alone to enjoy your experience. That being said, because the treehouse and our home share a 3 acre lot together, we are still readily available and close by if you need anything. We also have a local manager just in case we are out of town. The majority of the treehouse windows look into the deep green forest. The front side faces toward the second story and roof of the main house. Yes you are above our 3 story home!
Although tecnically not supported by trees, the treehouse sits at the back of the hillside atop a small 10ft cliff and then about 6 ft up on stillts. So allthough you are high up, you are never too far off the ground. There is a grass yard that seperates the treehouse from our home.
No ladders are required other than for the children's loft. You are welcome to stroll the grounds. It is quite and peaceful but you may hear one of our cars depart or arrive throughout the day. At times you may hear seasonal yard maintenance. Most of the grounds are in view of the main home.
When you arrive you may park anywhere in our circular driveway. From there you will find the tailhead (Sasquatch Lane) located by the red barn. The trail is about 200 feet long and ascends about 50 feet up a wooden boadwalk and stairs.
To give you the highest level of service, a booking form will be sent via messages following reservation.
You are welcome to ask us for a list of must see attractions and our favorite restaurants.

A very cute and quaint little cabin in a fairly secluded part of the hosts' property—it's literally like a treehouse for adults! The hosts were very nice and also accommodating. Overall, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed our time being warm and cozy inside while listening to the autumn rain gently fall amidst the surrounding trees.
Sasquatch cabin was so quaint and cute. I rented this place for my wife for her birthday. We arrived later than I expected to but I think it may have been better because the walkway you use to walk up the grade to the cabin is lit up by string lights. It looks just magical. The idea of the entire trip was just to get her someplace she could kick back and relax with a good book. That’s what she did on Saturday. We did nothing but stay in the cute little cabin. She finished an entire book. With the little hot plate I was able make her some of her favorite from scratch soup. We got to kick back and even took a nap. I would say that my only concern was the stairs. They’re beautifully made stairs, and the precision is amazing. We happened to be there during a very wet weekend and the stairs and walk way are made of treatevd wood, obviously, and with it being so wet, the stairs and walkway were very slippery. Going down the stairs I slipped 3 separate times. Had the rope not been there I probably would have toppled off and over the edge!Other than that, though it was absolutely amazing. Exactly what I was looking for to celebrate my wife’s 36 years on the planet!
We had a lovely time during our stay at the Treehouse. 2 nights (Thurs and Fri) was the perfect get-a-way for some relaxing time together. It was exactly as described!
Well thought out layout. It was super cozy, especially for a romantic getaway!
The hosts were super nice and very responsive. The treehouse was not only cute and cozy, but clean as well. All you need to bring is a box of wine and bubble bath!
My wife and I live in the Seattle area, but decided to get away for a night before the busyness of the Holidays. Treehouse Place was a perfect spot for a relaxing evening. My wife loved the bathtub (the main reason we booked the place) and I loved the location. Everything about the booking was perfect. Thanks!
The set-up was just as described and pictured. Romantic lighting up the wooden stairs. Comfy and cozy cabin with a relaxing tub, where we were happily surprised with the warmth of the water.
My husband booked this wonderful tree house for me and a friend to visit for my birthday. It was a wonderful spot to relax and have a fun quiet birthday night.

Nice Getaway
Overall the Sasquatch cabin is a super cute place to stay for a weekend away. A few things here and there like the cleaners coming a day early and letting themselves in while we were asleep, and not knowing there is a large house also being rented out right next door, made it a little awkward at times, but it was still fun nonetheless. Super close to Lake 22 for hikes, and Snohomish is so close to do dates downtown.

Enchanting little house in the forest
The pathway to the house through the hill forest is a magical way to start the treehouse stay. The house is well thought out and nicely decorated pnw style. Clean, quiet, tiny. The upstairs bedroom is cozy, the nook is really little, our 6 yr old loved it. Would return, thanks!

Great space! Quite and relaxing. Hosts are so sweet and attentive!
When we first drove up to the cabin it was like a dream. Nestled in the trees, hidden away from everything. We showed up when it was dark, but the path on the way up to the tree house was well lit. Getting into the cabin was easy and they kept it lit and heated for us. Over all the hosts were extremely accommodating (thanks for the tinfoil!) We can’t wait to spend some more time there again!

Wonderful. Beautiful. Happy. Stylish. Luxurious.
We broke into smiles the moment we started walking up the path and didn't stop smiling until well after we left. A marvelously well-designed small space with everything you need. No expense was spared to make the treehouse a small luxury retreat. Surrounded by trees and a feeling of privacy. I want a treehouse like this in my backyard.
The Treehouse at Deer Ridge is a magical and life-changing place. We got engaged on the romantic lighted path. You are also a close scenic drive from everything! We hiked Wallace Falls, Artist Point, and Lake Twenty Two. We also did wine tasting in Woodinville. An unforgettable experience. Thank you!

We booked this place because we wanted something special for our wedding night. The communication leading up to the night was very prompt and awesome. However, when we got there, we discovered that the host had double booked us, and there was already a couple inside! They were so sweet and saw me in my wedding dress and immediately started packing to give us the place for the night. Meanwhile we were on the phone with the host, and he was shocked by the over booking but also not being very apologetic. He said he would refund both parties. So the other couple left and we stayed. The place was cute, but cute and cozy are also euphemisms for tiny. There is no curtain around the tub, so water easily splashes out. The showers taken before us had soaked the bench, so there was no where dry to sit. It was also stifling hot. I know it was a record hit day, but at least be prepared with a fan (the 2 inch one doesn't count) for your guests, or convert the light fixtures above the bed to a ceiling fan. The worst part was the incinerator toilet. A cool concept, but it made the upstairs reek of smoke and burning, even with the air filter they had there running at full blast. I could still smell it on my hair when I got home. I also had to remind the host to refund us, and then he only refunded a portion and I had to go through VRBO chat support and back and forth with the host to get the full refund. He never once apologized outside of the "sorry, there's nothing I can do" on the phone.
