"My husband and I were so incredibly blessed to spend seven glorious days at this peaceful and serene haven away from all the cares of the world. It felt like a spiritual retreat, staring for endless hours at the river, reading, watching the occasional barge drift by, surrounded by nature and treated to gorgeous sunsets and sunrises from the dock. The home was immaculate and exactly as pictured in the photos. Our host Sean was amazing, and responded immediately to a quick question (literally in one minute). If you can tear yourself away from the house, Alexandria Bay is only 30 minutes away, and Jacques Cartier State Park is a mere 8 minutes away - perhaps the most lovely park we've ever been to, adjacent to the river with a wonderful playground and sandy beach area for children. We enjoyed eating at JJs on the River, Gran View (a bit more formal), and you can't beat the pizza at Stone-EZ (just one minute away). We cannot say enough about this wonderful home and are so grateful to our hosts for making this beautiful, peaceful retreat, situated right on the banks of the St. Lawrence River overlooking Canada, available for others to enjoy. "9 adults had plenty of room. Everything in the description of the house was very accurate and the communication with Tom was was easy and very quick to get back to me. We are going to do a trip next year and we will be definitely looking into get this place again."

"Fantastic view of Chippewa Bay on the St Lawrence River, islands, fisherman, and gorgeous sunsets. Fire pit every night while watching the sunset. Area is very quiet. Locals are so very friendly (special mention to Alice). Fished the schoals in the Bay for bass and perch. Caught many. Beds are super comfy. Great WiFi. Rented Brett's pontoon and kept it moored at the dock right down from the cottage. All in all a great experience."
