"well first I'm wanna start off by saying that the bed was so comfortable. I definitely expected more from a hotel room that was over $200 a night as the rooms were dated and the business centers computers were from the early 2000s. Can't complain about the location, it's walking distance to the White House. Overall I would definitely stay just because of how comfortable the bed was but $200 a night is insane to me but I guess that's the rate in DC"

"Lots of areas to sit and talk or people watch. Staff for friendly and helpful. Good restaurant offering inside the hotel and in the neighborhood. Room was very clean and comfortable."

"AC was so loud I had to wear earplugs and I feel like I got scammed by the resort fee. I stayed only 1 night and was not expecting a 15% up charge on a "resort fee". I wasn't planning to get breakfast but was told that the resort fee could be put forward to a breakfast. I originally thought maybe breakfast wouldn't reach the full $25 so I'd lose a little money, but when I got the bill for breakfast buffet I saw it was $40. I probably ate $8 worth of food. Now I feel doubly cheated. This was essentially a 20% increase in the price I expected to pay. I don't think I'll ever stay at a Hilton again after this experience. Hidden resort fees should be illegal and I hope one day there is a class action law suit against hotels that utilize them. "

"I actually ended up staying in the basement unit for this listing, which was significantly better, it had its own exit so I did not have to enter/exit through owner's front door. It was an extra 10/day, and I highly recommend it. Very large and clean unit, nice hot shower (just a bit dark in the toilet and shower area, only issue), nice neighborhood, 1 mile to Columbia Heights metro, next to Rock Creek Park for hiking"
