About this property

Easy drive to Covington square. Safe gated property.

This spacious studio apartment / short term rental, located on our 54 acre working horse farm has everything you need to getaway. Feels like a world away but still centrally located with plenty of activities just minutes away.
Enjoy meeting the horses, ponies, sheep, goats, chickens, and pigs. Book a horseback ride (48 hr notice) right outside your door or ask about accommodations available to bring your own. Take a hike or canoe ride at Hard Labor. Tour the Covington Square, of Vampire Diaries, Sweet Magnolias, and Dukes of Hazzard fame. Shop and dine one day in Downtown Madison and the next in Monroe.
End your day with a spectacular sunset then relax by the fire pit, under the stars, while the tree frogs and cricket serenade.

My husband and I stayed there during the BRAG ride. It’s a beautiful farm, lots of animals to visit with, clean, nice accommodations, all was good. Our host was super nice and we really enjoyed our stay. Hugs to Willow and Wade!

Very cool place to stay with beautiful views, horses and two friendly Pyrenees to greet you when you get home. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and clean setting.

My fiance and I absolutely loved staying here. The studio was very clean and cute. We loved being around all the animals and were immediately greeted by two loving dogs. Kathlene's communication was great. Would recommend this to anyone especially if you're an animal lover!

Property is just as described. A beautiful farm with a lot of animals. Also greeted by the 2 sweetest dogs you'll ever meet! The host was very responsive. Can't wait to visit again! Oh and you get fresh eggs from the farm to enjoy. Very quiet and peaceful.

My boyfriend and I stayed here because we were in town for a wedding, as soon as we walked in we loved it! It’s the perfect size for a weekend stay with a nice size bath, we also loved the large mirror and bathroom counter space, it made having to share the bathroom when getting ready super easy. Also the two farm dogs were the cutest and sweetest and so happy to greet you when they saw you they get 5 stars.

Best kept secret

I started writing the review the minute I entered the gates to this property. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We were greeted by two large firm dogs, willow and Wade. They were the sweetest ever. The property was beautiful and extremely clean. It was exactly as described. The owner was amazing and very responsive. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Our little studio was absolutely perfect! The dogs on property greeted my best friend and I every day and loved the enormous amount of love they received. We also enjoyed getting to walk around and greet all the different animals. Property Manager was very sweet and helpful with anything we needed! 10/10 can’t wait to stay here again!

Anniversary/Birthday Visit

My wife and I usually take a trip on the third week of Oct to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays. This year we decided to go to Madison, GA. We stayed at the Liberty Stables Studio. The room was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities, and the farm-fresh eggs and interaction with the farm animals was a unique side benefit. So, no complaints.

My daughter and I booked the stay to go to the UGA /ole miss game.. it was an easy drive over with some beautiful views.. the property was beautiful and very safe.. it wasn’t to big or to small and everything we needed was there. The Tin plate is a must when you visit! I would advise taking food because of the rural location there’s not a lot of eating places nearby. definitely on my booking list for next time!

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary weekend and loved the farm. The studio was clean and as described in posting. The farm fresh eggs were a very nice touch. The Wi-Fi is not the best. My husband was unable to watch the game, but given the location I was not expecting great signal. Loved that the location is close enough to several cities to go on adventures during the day. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is a fairytale come to life. Every time you opened the door you were greeted with loving animals. When I had a question for the host she answered immediately and politely. A little antisocial myself, so even if you saw the homeowners they never approached you which made you feel like you weren’t just a guest you sorta were family just walking around the yard which was nice. Would give this property 100/10 for location, beauty, and cleanliness. Just note, if you’re an animal lover you will not want to leave!
