The staff was very nice. If you don’t want fancy and you just care whether it is clean this hotel is fine. My complaint was no fitted sheet. So sheet kept exposing the mattress. Not crazy about that. The bathtub was stained but we did not take a shower. There was decent tv and furnace worked. There was a coffee maker! They did accept our pets with no problem. Cost 10 dollars a dog. When you travel with pets you are not going to get super nice facilities usually!

Wonderful stay

Great stay. Outside isn’t much to look at, but our room appeared to be recently renovated. It was very nice. Customer service was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Comfortable for the price and location. Very quiet and access to a few local restaurants. Owners very professional and friendly.

For budget lodging, San Miguel Inn is a great option. The rooms were clean, the inn was quiet, and although the facility is a little run down, the owners are making caring renovations. The inn felt safe too, with good lighting, what seems to be a community of long-term tenants, and lots of kids' toys in front of units. I'll happily stay here again on future trips around Socorro.

This is a sweet place. It doesn’t look much like much from the street. But it’s well run and the rooms were clean and efficient.

Staff made it worth it

The front desk staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. The motel is old but they are in the middle of renovations and clearly trying to update. It’s your standard roadside motel, but very clean. Beds and pillows weren’t the most comfortable but for just a place to sleep one night, possibly two, it does just fine.

Do yourself a favor and keep going... Front desk nice. Relatively quiet. Conveniet. Very good water pressure in shower. Filthy. Very outdated. Very worn. Black mold in several area , Multiple cigarette burns worn out linen and blankets, Sained wash clothes. Old. Nasty(in and out). Honestly, It should be reported, condemned and shut down. It's a health hazard. Simply put, it shouldn't even be offered on Expedia or anywhere else... It's a hard NO! Keep going! We have visited to many places around including 3rd world countries as missionaries and this is at the very bottom....

Acceptable and economical

If you just need a place to sleep and take a shower - it was acceptable. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the bed sheets clean. We had our own pillows.The water pressure was a bit low but enough to take a shower. If you're not planning on spending a lot of time in the room other than sleep than it's acceptable and economical.

Up and Coming Lodging in Socorro

The outside of the property is completely unappealing, however, clearly renovations and upgrades are underway inside. The tile and flooring is very nice, the bathroom lighting (especially the built in mirror lighting) was excellent. Once they finish capping electrical connections in the ceiling it will have a nicer appearance. Night stands and at least one lamp would and a clock would be nice touches. HVAC worked well, but no satellite signal for TV. Staff was pleasant and very polite and helpful.

San Miguel Inn needs work - OK for one night

When I entered the room I was surprised. I reserved a King size bed, this was a full size (I found out later the king size was on the second floor - I wanted first floor). The TV was on the desk (couldn't use my computer), there was no chair at the desk, so I got mine from the car. I called the MGR he said he would bring one, I said I already was using mine. The TV remote only works some functions, you have to use two remotes. The bathroom was scary, toilet not on the floor-rocking. The Shower door was open, try to shut it wouldn't shut. Sink was OK. The floor were dirty, took my shoes off and was walking on stuff. I spoke with MGR in general about the condition and they're improving the rooms - already has a new window air system (has Auto feature - nice)

Good check-in. Very clean and refurbished room. This is a facility the owners are obviously trying hard to restore. If you want to help support a small business with a big dream, this is an easy and comfortable way to do it.
