"Boy, does this place take me back to my childhood when places like this were the norm. A cute, little roadside motel that was so common in the 1960s/70s, before the generic and bland chain hotels took over. Though dated (obviously), the room was clean and comfortable. The service was very good and the one staff member that checked me in was friendly and helpful.
I really enjoyed the "throwback" feel of this place, and felt a real sense of nostalgia staying there. We need more places like the Lamberton Hotel. "
"We were looking for a central location for family to meet for our parent’s 40th anniversary. The Vintage Inn was lovely, clean. The host was kind and responsive. The place had charm and was exactly what wanted. The bookstore across the street was a huge bonus for our family of readers! We loved exploring Ramsey Park and the Grandview Valley Winery. Some of our group drove to Walnut Grove to see the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum. The locals were kind and helpful! The only downside was the traffic was noisy. Most of us used a fan or the provided noise machines to sleep more soundly.Overall, a true hidden gem. Would go back and recommend to a friend. "
