"Room was good however there was a lot of construction and building material in common areas making the feel of the property not so welcoming. Front desk girls were not too friendly. "

And cars coming and going in the courtyard are disruptive late at night. The room was clean with minimal decor. Nice coffee and danish included across the street in the morning. "

"I enjoyed my two night stay at the Vinland Hotel and Lounge. The beds were comfortable, shower had extraordinary pressure, ample bathroom counter space and delicious (and very strong) coffee available in the lobby. I’m also a fan of the Malin+Goetz body wash (just ordered some for home). The location is perfect and very walkable to all things Solvang. I would stay here again."

"We booked our room on the ground floor of this two story structure with parking nearby. It was comfortable and near Mother Hubbard's where we had a delicious breakfast. Too bad Anderson's Pea Soup closed down!"

"This was our first time using a no staff type hotel. Our only issue was needing to speak with anyone after hours 9:00 p.m. There was no remote for the TV cable which had to be brought over the next day. I would recommend nicer towels. The ones in our room were dingy and rough. That being said, it was a lovely experience, and we'd most certainly stay there again and recommend it."

Location is on the edge of Solvang’s main drag, but I didn’t mind the walk to the center of town; Solvang is very small anyway "
