Come enjoy kayaking in the bay, the use of our private dock for fishing and water sports, or just relax in the 8x8 hot tub while enjoying the view of your private waterfront. Catch the fireworks over the Gulf from our upper deck and see the pelicans put on a show as they dive for their daily meal. Occasionally you will be lucky to spot a dolphin off our back deck!

FYI- we DO NOT RENT rent to spring breakers or anyone under the age of 25 .

The Blue Dahlia Townhome is a beautifully decorated home with a waterfront view. It is located on the bay side of the island, on the fingers with access to the bay. One of the few on the island with a private dock/boat slip. We also have special monthly rates for Winter Texans.

This Townhome is for those wanting the feel of a home with all the amenities. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail from the expansive upper deck which also offers wonderful views of the water and the wildlife that fish our waters. Watch the Friday & Saturday evening fireworks right from your own private deck. Prepare meals in your townhome's fully equipped kitchen upstairs or use the fully equipped outdoor kitchen downstairs to prepare your catch of the day. Fish off your private dock 24/7 or dock your boat, kayaks, jet ski’s and walk right up to the townhome.

Everything you need to be as comfortable as possible during your stay is here. Accommodations include: a queen size bed in the Master and 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom with a trundle as well. Downstairs is a bathroom, laundry area and set of bunk beds. The townhome features a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops throughout with all new appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware, glassware, coffee maker, Keurig , blender, toaster, mixing bowls, pitchers, cooking utensils, Crock Pot and pots & pans.

The Townhome has wi-fi, plus 4 flat screen tv's and a washer & dryer on site. The living room has a smart TV while the 2 bedrooms have a Roku. Downstairs is a smart TV for the bunk beds. Local TV can be found on the Spectrum app on each TV. On the bottom floor you will find a mini-fridge, gas grill, a wood burning BBQ pit for outdoor cooking and plenty of dining area.

If you are a boat owner, this is the Townhome for you with access to your own private dock/boat slip as well as storage space for your trailer. One of the few on the island. Great for the avid fisherman, outdoor sportsman or the entire family. The property is located on a quiet, tranquil street with the main living quarters on the 2nd floor. (There is no elevator)

The property is registered with the city of South Padre Island permit number : #2023-0487.

We do not rent to spring breakers or to anyone under the age of 25.

The rental contract is located on the VRBO system. You will be asked to review, sign and date within 24 hours along with a copy of your driver's license.

Just an FYI- we are no longer requiring our Guest to pay an upfront damage deposit for their booking. All guest will still remain responsible for any claims that will need to be made if any damage to the property is reported.

Great Getaway

Love this rental!! Access to bay, kayak, hot tub, patio, grilling. Place is clean, cozy, short walk to the beach, boat dock. This is our second stay in this rental and would definitely stay here again. Love it!

Wonderful stay

We loved this property. The decor is cute and the deck and lower level kitchen space was awesome. Our son caught a lot of little fish of the pier. Owner was very responsive and went out of her way to return items we left! The location was perfect, easy walk to the beach and a lovely bay view.

Personally wouldn’t recommend

Several issues with this place: first of all it ended up being not enough space for us because one of the “rooms” was on the lower level that was attached to the garage. This so called room had no windows and it smelled moldy and wet. It was scary even for an adult, with exposed pipes and drains and I think it flooded before because the garage door was caved in and one of the bathrooms was down there that had an artificial flower covered in mold. The fan in that bathroom didn’t work which isn’t helpful for the mold. Needless to say nobody wanted to sleep down there. The upstairs had a masters bedroom with a broken queen size bed that was the worst to having to sleep in. The mattress was caving in and the bedframe made a lot of noise just by turning in the bed. We had to rearrange the sleeping situation because of it. In addition the sheets didn’t fit and kept coming off the mattress with every turn which is super gross thinking how many other people sleep in that bed. It was also really disappointing to see that someone else had mentioned the bed issue in their review and clearly nothing was done about it. The other review also mentioned that the jacuzzi had lots of sand in it just two days before we arrived and the same sand was still in the jacuzzi. Jaccuzi was not maintained at all with rust, sand etc. They have a really old water cooler with only empty water jugs so useless, trashcan was broken so you had to open the lid by hand and it was placed the middle of the room.

Beautiful house and area. Was as the pictures show. Close walk to the beach. The Kayaks and bay were a lot of fun. Worked great for our family. There were a few things to note: the large bed was extremely loud with the slightest move because the headboard hit the wall (it was hard to sleep when it was so loud), the dryer would not shut without slamming and adjusting a piece several times, the wagon's wheel was rusted off (not a big deal, we just bought one to take home) and the hot tub had a lot of sand in it when we arrived.

Relaxing beach vacation

Beautiful beach home , clean and comfortable . Perfectly stocked kitchen. Relaxing hot tub. Great grilling and entertaining area. Downstairs area is separated sleeping quarters more for younger kids./teens that want to be away from family lol but very spacious bathroom. Great view of clayton fireworks . Loved our stay !

We loved this property! The dock outside was perfect for our kids and jet skis. The kitchen was appointed well enough. I was a little uneasy about the 12-13 year old boys sleeping in the bunk room downstairs, as it’s completely separated from the main house, but they did ok.

This place was amazing. We are long time visitors to SPI, and this by far the best rental. Plenty to do- kayaking, fishing and hot tub. Unlike a hotel room, you can still continue to enjoy the evening with all kinds of activities without leaving the premises. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay!

Me and my family really enjoy our stay at the blue dahlia, from the cozy rooms to the relaxing hot tub, location is great! Quiet neighborhood and the property is well kept, love the decor! There’s kayaks and tons of toys and life jackets, we enjoy the kayaks and Our kids enjoy their room with the led lights, husband enjoy grilling in the open kitchen downstairs and fishing right behind your backyard. If we come again we definitely will be back to the blue dahlia! Thank you

FANTASTIC!

This condo is amazing! It has all the amenities one could ask for, making it feel like home. The condo is exceptionally comfortable, and we appreciated the charming decor. It easily accommodated my family of 7. We enjoyed fishing on the dock, and the kids had a great time catching fish. I highly recommend this stay to anyone interested in visiting the beach. It's only a 5-minute drive to the public beach, yet it's situated right on the water with a boat dock and bay. We're definitely planning to come back again!

Great property

My family and I loved the property. It was clean very well decorated, made it feel like home. The best things, I really liked was the outdoor cooking station. I'm one that loves to grill so this made the evenings fun for me. There were lots of things to do near by, but just hanging out and sitting in the hot tub and fishing off the dock were some of the best things we did. We made great memories. Last thing the property manager was on point. Gave us the heads up on the storm that was coming in and gave us suggestions on things to do if it kept us away from the beach and answered any questions we had quickly. However the place had games, so while it rained we sat and played games, it was great to have the family sit together and laugh and have fun. I definitely recommend this property to anyone.
