"The views , the setting and staff were excellent. What let the hotel down was attention to detail- our room had a cracked glass balcony which did not instil confidence. The lack of reliable hot water a was another poor aspect as was the indifferent housekeeping which we had to constantly talk to housekeeping manager about. The lack of response from the front desk and management until 11pm on night before departure with an alternate room was too little too late. To cap this on the last night key...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Weligama Hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were taken by buggy to our amazing room overlooking the garden. It was spacious and so was the bathroom. A short walk to the dining room for dinner and breakfast and we enjoyed being able to sit outside on the terrace for both.
