Top Southern California Hotel Reviews
The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, Los Angeles
8/10 Good
"Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. Pool area was kept clean for the most part. Wasn’t cleaned often enough as dishes were left on the floor for days at a time. Towels were always stocked. Rooms weren’t cleaned as often. Vent in bathroom did not work as the mini fridge that kept items a bit colder than room temperature. Hotel seems to be used for business purposes. Have stayed here a few times. Walking distance to some food restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again."
Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport
10/10 Excellent
"I was really amazed at how nice the room was. I expected much less given it's an "airport hotel." The room and bathroom were a decent size and I liked the added touch of a free bottle of water. It was also very quiet. I do wish there were some tea bags and not just coffee and splenda instead of the pink sweetner but those are minor things. Really appreciated the 24 hour shuttle service to airport, but one thing to note: The shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes. The shuttle bus waits in the garage parking lot about a 30 second walk from the designated sign posted waiting spot. The non rule followers, get get on the bus in the parking lot (behind the barrier), and the rule followers wait at the spot that has a sign that says to wait there for the shuttle bus. Here's the problem though, if enough people get on the bus where they are not supposed to get on, then there may not be space on the bus for the poor suckers who followed the rules and stood in line by the sign. They then have to wait another 20 minutes!"

The Dana on Mission Bay
8/10 Good
"My wife was denied a popsicle on popsicle day! For the rates they charge, a popsicle seems like something everyone should get. The restaurant on site was slightly above average food wise but the service and drinks were excellent. The location, service, views, and gardens were all excellent. As walkers, we both loved the walk along the coast around the marina. Definitely catch the seafood restaurant across the street from the hotel called Sportsman’s Catch (or something similar) amazing fresh fish sandwiches and excellent prices. We saw them loading in fresh caught fish in the back. Over all a 8.5/10…definitely would stay again."
