"I usually stay in chain hotels, mainly Marriott or IHG. Well this time I could not find a rate at either of those that was not outrageous. I decided to try this independent hotel and I am so glad I did! I really enjoyed my stay and my room was clean, well furnished, updated and even had a leather chair with ottoman. The mini fridge was quiet and cold and there was a microwave. The room was quiet. I parked practically at the door of my room. I will definitely stay here again. Finally, the rate was reasonable and fair and not trying to gouge me. This hotel has restored my faith in independently run hotels."
Flat Creek Inn

"We had never been to Jackson Hole before and took a chance on Flat Creek Inn based on Expedia reviews and ratings. In general, those ratings were accurate. The place is a little worn, but not enough to be a factor. We liked that the Inn was a little out of town. The view out the front window was great! The gas station and mini-mart were convenient. The room was pretty typical motel fare. The towels were very good for a motel. The room was clean and had no smell. The TV was a nice size and the cable service was sufficient for our limited use. The shower was great with plenty of hot, soft water. Felt great after a long hike. Unlike many hotels, there was not daily room service unless you asked, which was ok with us. The proximity to the highway did mean a little more noise, but not enough to be concerning. Our unit was next to the middle stairwell so we didn't hear other units except for when the neighbors used their shower. Could really hear that water go on. Parking was a little tight at times when we would bet back to the motel at night. Two very small complaints. The TV, the mini-fridge, and the microwave were all plugged in to a power strip that kept popping and had to be reset. Secondly, the blinds wouldn't close all the way, so we had to improvise a clip to keep them closed for our privacy. We would stay here again."

"Excellent location with fantastic rooms. I was in room with queen bed and it was awesome. Particularly like the view of mountain. Fast checkin process. No free breakfast and only one star less because they done have fridge and microwave in rooms but they have common microwave outside to use. Wonderful landscaping with elks roaming around. Overall recommended."

"The cabin was great over-all! Clean and updated! Shower was especially good! My only wish is that there would be a coffee maker in the room. Highly recommend!"

"BEWARE! If you book through Expedia, the hotel, upon checkout, is STILL going to charge you a room fee as well as a parking fee of $15, even if you don't have a car and park there. I had paid for two rooms through Expedia and was then charged, at checkout, for a $15 parking fee as well as a room fee. Per management, no worries, that they would just remove my charge on Expedia, however, 10 days later, I was still fighting with the hotel, when they eventually decided to return my call. I finally spoke with the accountant, who had no idea why I would even be told that Expedia would refund my money, which was not the case, and that my room fee through the hotel was eventually credited to my credit card. That rubs me the wrong way for sure! The hotel was beautiful, the history is incredible but the South African bartender was not kind whatsoever, or at least two women. She was quite sweet to my husband and his best friend. Would I recommend staying there, absolutely! ...and even ask for a tour by Joe, in security, who was wonderful and took us into those hidden areas. PLEASE be mindful of your bill. I found it very disrespectful, as a paying customer, that Amy the manager passed the buck and apologize that she thought her supervisor had already called me back. Please don't tell me one thing and don't follow through. A satisfied, dissatisfied, customer who is writing this so others don't have to go through what I just did"

"The dog friendly rooms were on the ground floor, with patio access to the doggy park. The restaurant and the amenities were outstanding, as well as the deck overlooking the lake, with fire pits and luscious plants and flowers. The staff were quick to help, kind and knowledgeable. The room was impeccable and very spacious. The pool is large and heated. I will go back as soon as I can."
