"Room had three single beds with very white linen, although my son found a very faint stain on his. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Shower very powerful! View was of a side street so not a seaview, which was disappointing. It's about 1km to town so not far, and there is a row of shops including a Sainsbury's and fish and chip shop behind the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. "

The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable—clearly maintained to a very high standard. "Good location for eateries and shops and access to beach. Bus stops close by to get into Eastbourne, but be aware that they are not frequent. The open top bus tour is a must. Everyone we met were super friendly and helpful about things to do during our stay. Comfortable stay overall."

"We stayed for 10 nights. The accommodation was very clean and nicely furnished. You’ll find everything you need, including games and books — though they are in English, of course. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was great. The beds were comfortable.The only reason we can't give a full five-star rating is that the accommodation could be significantly improved by adding balcony access from the kitchen/living room level, as seen in the neighboring houses. Currently, the very lovely balcony is located on the lowest level, off one of the bedrooms, which makes it rather inconvenient to carry drinks or breakfast down from the first floor. Because of that, we unfortunately never had breakfast outside, despite the great weather.With three floors in total, it's best suited for guests who are comfortable with stairs. A few restaurants and a bar are within walking distance. We would definitely book again."
