"We had a wonderful time at the property. The villa is superb and has all the facilities you could need. Angela and Mario were exceptional in answering any queries, resolving minor issues quickly, and offering helpful advice on places to visit and things to see. They really couldn’t have done more for us.Our only disappointment on arrival was that the location was not described accurately on Vrbo. The map pin showed the villa on the edge of town and the description stated it was a five-minute walk to the beach. As my wife and I are both over 70, one of our main booking criteria was being able to walk easily into town and down to the beach. Unfortunately, this was not the case.Thankfully, we had hired a car, so we didn’t let it spoil our holiday. In fact, the quieter location outside the town, combined with the spectacular views, more than made up for it, and we soon adjusted our plans accordingly. I have mentioned this to the owner and hopefully, by the time you read this, the Vrbo listing will have been corrected."

"The breakfast was amazing! The room was super- spacious, comfortable bed. Unfortunately the room was hot, the a/c didn’t work so we opened the door and turned on the fan. We slept Great! So in the current weather with cool nights we were able to work with it. Don’t know how it would be in summer heat if a/c doesn’t work. "

"A sufficiently adequate kitchen. Although missed a dishwasher. Water pressure upstairs ruled the shower out. Pool and garden were amazing. Lots of sunshine made it even better. Eating alfresco was the best.Centre of town is close by. You definitely need a car. Taxi/Uber is expensive. Good location giving access to the north coast to do many trips."

"Angela was very friendly. Somehow we managed to communicate even though she spoke no English and we have very little Italian. Very secure and quiet and a short walk from the beach with a relaxing area beside the block. About half an hour by car from the airport and an hour from Palermo. Ciao Angela."

"Stayed here with my family. Overall, the experience was good. The host was friendly and shared lots of tips via WhatsApp, including dining and boat trips. The pool area was lovely, and the apartment was decent. It’s about a 15-minute walk to town (with one steep hill), but the town is charming with great food at reasonable prices. We appreciated having two parking spaces (one inside the gate and one outside).On the downside: the apartment needs refreshing as many things feel old and worn. Power sockets were very limited (only one in the kitchen and three in total across bedrooms). Air conditioning costs extra, which wasn’t clearly stated. The property is spread over two levels with a roof terrace, but note there are three apartments upstairs plus the owner’s family downstairs, so the pool is shared with more guests than expected. The pool closes strictly at 8 PM. One hot evening I went for a late swim and was told it wasn’t allowed; the next day, the host said she reported us to Vrbo and could evict us, which felt extreme.Other points: The host said we could keep rubbish in bins on the balcony during the stay, but on checkout morning, we were asked to take it all downstairs. The washing machine is shared and often used by the host between turnovers, so it was hard to access.If you’re okay with strict rules and an older apartment, it’s a decent stay. If you want more flexibility, it may not be for you."
