hotel Clean Restaurant food was decent quality. Breakfast Very good. Sadly let down in hotel by smell of sewage that was there six months ago as well mostly later afternoon and night time. This time it even got into our room

We stayed over for 2 nights as it was just down road from a wedding we went to. Very handy. Great pub nx door. Just off service stop so other food options. Had to wait for a while to get booked in as it’s the same staff as pub,and they were busy with customers in bar and restaurant. Other than that it was comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking

Very helpful staff. Unfortunately the place is too popular and very understaffed, most of the time one person at the bar taking food and drinks orders and they just cannot cope. The young chef on the carvery deserves a medal for his dedication and composure under such great pressure. The hotel side is standard chain fare, but offers excellent value for money. Our second visit and we will probably return in the future.
