"We stayed the weekend at Bear Bluff retreat to hike nearby state parks and view the waterfalls. It was perfect! The cabin is exactly as pictured. Everything is new and the amenities are well thought out giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunsets and peace each evening and a calm cup of coffee each morning. The star gazing is amazing! I haven’t seen that many stars in years. There is a small fire pit to roast marshmallows and drink cocoa. The owners have literally thought of everything. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway. Perfection!!!"

"This was a lovely, quiet and very comfortable cottage just outside of Cookeville, TN situated in a very private area of a small mountain. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture, a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, and a great backyard with a fire pit made this stay so, so wonderful. We were celebrating our 33 wedding anniversary and we wanted to just get away and do some hiking & see waterfalls at the three State Parks that are a short drive. The hosts were very communicative and have done such a great job with this cottage. We missed it as soon as we drove away. We hope to be back within the next year or so for another nice stay!"
