Cozy Country Getaway

One bedroom duplex, located just outside a small West Michigan village, adjacent to a park, and near a stocked, 150 acre lake. Our fenced in yard includes a fire pit and patio for grilling. The Village of Sparta is just a couple miles away and hosts a selection of family owned restaurants, and downtown Grand Rapids is within easy driving distance. The public boat launch and dock are about a mile away. The space is 750sqrft with an open floor plan. Kitchen is stocked with basic cooking utensils, pots and pans, Keurig, oven, toaster, microwave, and fridge. Other amenities include propane grill, fire-pit, full laundry, Wi-Fi, 44" HD TV with Roku. Window and Portable AC units installed during summer months. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and queen-sized pullout couch, a Pack n' Play can be provided upon request for children under 2.
There is room to park your water toys, and the public boat launch and dock are about a mile away.

Nice place for small family

Short trip to the west side of Michigan for a mom and 3 boys. Kids loved the large fenced in yard and fire pit. Clean house with a cozy feel.

We loved the home. Just a couple miles from Sparta, but next door to a convenience store. The hosts go out of their way to see that you have everything you need. The home is clean and well decorated. We would choose to stay here again.

Unit was excellent overall. Communication was very good. Unit was clean and well equipped. Beautiful and peaceful country location. Lots of thoughtful touches ( plenty of towels, toilet paper, spices, tea, dishwasher, washer and dryer, air conditioning). Beautiful and private backyard. Only issue was slow draining tub that became almost totally clogged by the end of our visit. We are sure it would have been promptly handled had we reported it.

Nice weekend away

The property was very nice with a good floor plan and excellent fenced in yard. It is minutes from Sparta, Rockford, and Grand Rapids. The lake was nice and it is in a very calm area away from the hustle and bustle of city living. My wife and I loved our stay!

Convenient and affordable

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this home. It's spotless and accessible. I do want to point out that we were able to smell cigarettes, mainly in the living room area. Now, I am sensitive to smoke so, it wasn't pleasant, but I know others probably have a higher tolerance than I do. In the end, it didn't matter because we spent our entire stay in downtown GR, but if I had known, we wouldn't have reserved this spot.
