The location of the home and size of the home are great. Nice comfortable furniture in living and bedrooms. Good atmosphere. Siobhan is really great to work with. We enjoyed our stay.

Country home
My wife and I and my son's family stayed here for one week. It was a great location to explore the Connemara region. The house was very roomy and handled 2 families very well.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for a week. It was exactly as advertised, if not better. I found it to be bigger and more spacious than it appeared in the pictures. We had several people over for dinner one evening and it was a great space to host as the dining room and kitchen are open plan, with a door off the kitchen directly into the living room. The host was available by phone if needed, but otherwise left us completely to our own devices. I honestly can't fault it. We had a great stay there and I would recommend to anyone planning a trip to the area :-)
Everything was just about prefect with this house! The pictures don’t do it justice. Great layout. The kitchen was well equipped for all your cooking needs. The bedrooms are down the other side of the house - perfect set up for those that need to sleep while others are in the kitchen and living room. Towels were scratchy not soft. Back bedroom was cold. Other than that house was a gem. Definitely will book again.
We stayed with two other couples and everyone loved the property and area. The house was clean and every bed was comfortable! We loved walking into town and bringing back cheese and wine to enjoy on the outside patio. Bus to Galway was very convenient too. 5 star stay!!
The house was perfect for our family with adult children. We were all able to have our own spaces but also great gathering places to play a card game and have a family dinner. The area was quiet but a perfect in-between for sightseeing. Thanks to Siobhan for checking in with us and making it easy to connect.
Beautiful home with everything you need to feel at home. Rooms are all spacious, large bedrooms, 2 came with their own bathrooms while the third bathroom was across the hall from third bedroom. Only 30 minutes to Galway.

Along the wild Altlantic Way
We (6 people) had a very good time at this location. The house provides everything we needed for a good time, very clean and a lot of facilities which are better than other places we visited before. The pictures gave us helpful information of the house and we found everything like it shows there. The location is a good mixture of having a peaceful and relaxing stay with a short trip to Spiddal and good connection to Galway. The support during booking and on-site was excellent. All of us were happy to have chosen this place.

Stay at the Uplands
We were delighted with the accommodation at the Uplands.
It is a spacious well designed house with a most welcome sea view.
The kitchen draws sunlight throughout the day.
The Uplands is well furnished throughout and very comfortable.
Ot was nice to have supplies such as tea and coffee on arrival.
The only negative from our point of view is that the curtains in the bedrooms are very light especially with the sun rising so early.
We addressed the issue by using black sacks on the windows.
We have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone

Hi our stay at uplands
We enjoyed our stay at the Uplands The location and views from the holiday home are Lovely Very close to some lovely beaches There were two of us staying but it was a very large house lots of space for family Very comfortable bed and very quiet for a good nights sleep
Perfect location for touring around the Connemara National Park and the Aran islands. Property is situated in the outskirts of Spiddal in a quiet location with a view over to Galway Bay.
Upon arrival everything was very clean and tidy and Siobhan made us feel very welcome. Would be ideal for family and couples and we would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wanting a perfect stay in the locality.
It was a very spacious house for the two of us and we were very comfortable. The house was ideally placed for us to explore Galway surrounds and into Connemara.
The welcome pack from the host was a lovely surprise.
The online booking is slick and the property was well appointed. A welcome pack of bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee was good. The property with three bedrooms, open plan kitchen diner and separate lounge is spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed sunrise from dining room at breakfast. Great stay thank you.
