"My husband and I traveled with our teenage daughter and two of her friends. The cabin was great! My husband and I could hang out on the first floor, while the kids were downstairs playing games, chatting, and sleeping in the bedroom down there. We got to see a lot of wildlife. Took advantage of many beaches & lakes, as boating (Matt's Lakeside Watercraft Rental was outstanding!), tubing, paddle boarding, & lots of swimming was on the agenda! We also enjoyed the Clubhouse, Restaurant, workout room, sauna & pool. It was a great week to cap off our summer. I can't forget about Cindy and Scott. They were both such a pleasure & very attentive. Thanks for a memorable week!"

"We had a very nice stay at the Best Western Spooner Riverplace Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. The location was convenient for our family trip, and breakfast made it easy to get back on the road the next morning. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good value. We would stay here again."

"Thank you for the wonderful 3 nights at your cabin. Jen was very accommodating and didn’t hesitate to let us use their aluminum fishing boat, kayak, paddle boat, and canoe. Although we didn’t read close enough to see there was no WiFi or tv, it ended up being the best blessing. If you like fishing - my family caught lots of bass, bluegills, and northern pike! Extra bonus - the casino had fireworks and we could see them from the cabin! An awesome getaway, would stay here again."

"We had a great time at this VRBO on Lincoln Lake about 10 miles north of Spooner, WI. Despite being the warmest week of the year in the north woods with 90s everyday, we were able to stay comfortable and cool due to several good fans in the cabin, a great beach area with good quality water for swimming, a nice breeze off the lake, and plenty of shade. A couple nights were uncomfortable, but over all it was not an issue. Water clarity and quality was good, fishing not so much due to very hot weather and plenty of weeds near shore. Twin Oaks Bar and Grill less than 2 miles away has great appetizers (fried cheese curds, onion rings and mushrooms), 1.50 tacos on Tuesday, and 10 home made pizzas on Wednesdays. It's worth the stop. And we went to Hub's River Bend in Trego for a fantastic walleye fish fry on Friday, next door to Jacks Canoe and Tube rentals. We had 2 days with wildfire smoke, but we did not let it deter us. The natural public amphitheater overlooking the lake is a great place to hang out and relax. If your idea of a vacation in the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin is sitting inside in air-conditioning, watching TV and movies, and playing video games, this place is not for you. If you prefer to be outside, swim, fish, explore and enjoy your surroundings, you will not be disappointed. Only two complaints is the cabin has virtually no counter space (but a large older kitchen table), and a very sandy area right outside the door. The Weber grill worked great for cook"

"Super clean, cute, and comfortable. It is a peaceful little lake house not far from Stone Lake. There is a large deck, fire pit, dock, and area to swim. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything you need to have an enjoyable time. Check in was easy and owners communicated well. There are neighbors pretty close by on each side, but they were super quiet and seemed really nice. It still felt private, which was great! Sitting by the lake in the evening and watching the stars was amazing! Perfect for a great, relaxing get away! Highly recommend!"
