"The resort is a must if you have kids or toddlers as it caters to their needs and yours as a parent. The food was mostly good. Staff friendly. Lots of things to do for all age groups. Very clean. Visiting during off peak season is recommended. "

The Guest Experience Manager, Shane Haslam, truly stands out. He knows exactly how to make guests feel valued and satisfied. He is always smiling, consistently checks in to see how you’re doing, and no matter the question, he always has a solution. That kind of leadership really shows—his team works well together, and the respect among them is clear. From Daveen at check-in, to Devon Davidson who escorted us, and Shane personally attending to our needs, the service was exceptional across the board. The bar service, overall hospitality, and attention to detail made the entire stay phenomenal. I highly recommend giving them the opportunity—go experience it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed."

"I don’t know where to begin! My family of six adults and two small children could not have had a better experience. We just completed a fever dream of a week in this beautiful villa, doted on by an incredibly professional,caring and attentive staff. Chef Wong sent us home wanting every single recipe to his outstanding meals! We never wanted to eat out! As if the property itself wasn’t perfect, the staff was the chef’s kiss! Pepe made the best rum drinks and was the perfect host. Sophia kept the whole house in order and Bryan and Dwayne kept the property always looking its best. If we ever come back to Jamaica, we will return to Brown Shuggah! Anna and Daniel were fabulous communicators and they will always steer you in the right direction when it comes to activities, drivers and amenities! "Perfect Location and Excellent Hosts! "Our stay at Avant Family Villa was absolutely great. The location is great — quick drive to Ocho Rios’ top attractions like Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, and Mystic Mountain, as well as several beautiful local beaches. ​The villa itself offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a private community pool and beach access. Having a supermarket, pharmacy, Bank Cambio/ATM and restaurant right on-site made our trip so much easier.
