We reserved a clearly oversized two-bedroom suite that sported a kitchen (no stove), a large conference table and living room, plus a balcony that offered a nice view of the town and the beach (not beach side, but partial beach view). More than what my wife and I needed, but it was well maintained. Within walking distance to several good restaurants, one of which had outstanding pizza right across the street. The beach was a quick three-minute walk. Would stay here again if I ever return to St. Augustine.

I paid extra for an ocean view thinking I could see it. I had a clear view of the parking lot only if I stood at the balcony. The cheap chairs were too small to see over the concrete wall. Yes there was an ocean way off in the distance. Yay me. The refrigerator froze all the drinks I brought. There was only one elevator for the large hotel and most of the time it said, “Only four people can ride at a time.” It was very small and very slow. The two parking lots were so far from the entrance,I was barely able to get back and forth in the heat plus you had to pay extra for parking. There were two pluses- a nice pillow and the limited breakfasts were almost good too. I do not recommend this place if you are handicapped or limited mobility. Or of average means.

The only thing I did not like that we had to pay $16 every night for parking at the hotel parking lot, never ever had to pay for parking at any other hotel. Everything else was great!

Although the staff was wonderful, our first room was horrible. Missing sheet on bed and other bed had dirt when comforter was pulled back. There was ac closet that was moldy and dirty. Floors were gross, shower clogged. Have to pay for parking $16/day and parking lot had no lights.

Much wear and tear on the property although it was clean. My husband and 7 yr old granddaughter got stuck in the elevator on our first day for about 15 mins with other guests. She was somewhat traumatized and wouldn't get back on the elevator so we had to walk up and down the stairs. Most of the employees didn't seem happy to be there, especially the breakfast crew. And the breakfast was very generic, nothing special. However, the cleaning crew ALL had smiles on their faces. The best part is proximity to the beach. Very accessible.

The property seemed to be mostly clean. There was plenty of room in the lobby to meet up with our large group (14). There was breakfast in the morning. Some of the staff were pleasant and friendly. Some not so much. When we checked into the room it smelled like sewage. They came and sprayed right away. The bathroom had a handicapped shower. The handheld shower head shot right out into bathroom. The bathroom needs a proper shower curtain. The staff needs to leave floor mats to catch all the water. Don’t be surprised by the extra $16 a night for parking.

Hotel was right by the beach. Once you are parked, the car can sit. Across the street from grocery store, restaurants within walking distance. Pool and hot tub is clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable, shower is hot, hotel is quiet at night. Very safe area. Staff answers your questions and are polite. Breakfast was OK, not great. The only negative is that the elevator is really slow. Its a great place to stay

The property seemed a little run down. The employees were very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The room had a strong mildew smell and the pool area had a strong weed and cigarette smell when we walked through, so we did not use that area.
