My husband and I stayed one night and really enjoyed the hotel. It was very clean and our room exceeded our expectations. There was a very large screen TV, coffee maker, dryer and a beautiful patio, albeit not very private. My only "complaint" is that their elevators are exceptionally slow. On one occassion, I ended up just walking down the stairs after waiting for 20 minutes and found myself in the kitchen from which I was directed to go outside and walk all the way around the building to enter through the front lobby. A huge inconvienece to say the least!

Overall, the hotel was fine, but I expected better attention to basic details given the price, which is not exactly budget-level. The bed only had the fitted sheet and comforter, with no top sheet, and the pillows did not have pillowcases. There was also a towel in the bathroom that appeared to be slightly stained. The bathtub did not drain properly either, so while showering the water kept building up and ended up around my ankles, which was quite uncomfortable. The in-room safe was also left open with the locking bolts extended, which meant it could not simply be closed and reset with a new code. I probably could have called maintenance to have it fixed, but since I was only staying one night, I did not bother. None of these issues is major on its own, but together they suggest that some basic room-check details are being missed. For the price they charge, I would expect better attention to these things. Fixing them would likely make very little difference in cost, but a significant difference in the overall guest experience.

The most clean, friendly and well maintained the hotel I ever stay. The hotel is clean, staff organized and friendly. When I arrive to do a check in all my information ws setup, the key and everything was done. I just gave the credit card, signed the paper and they gave me the keys.

Liked the location and the fact that it was within walking distance to the beach. Very friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. Lobby and breakfast area was very clean and welcoming. Pool area was beautiful. The condenser in our room was leaking and the carpet was wet, which caused the room to have a musty odor. The bathroom sink also did not drain at all. I left a note with for the housekeeper advising her of these issues. When we returned from the beach a few hours later, the drain had been fixed and the maintenance department had placed 2 big fans in the room, blowing at full power. The room definitely felt drier, but the fans were pretty loud. I went downstairs to the front desk to ask if we could turn the fans off during the night because of the noise. The clerk offered to move us to another room, but since we were checking out before 6am the next morning, and it was already after 6pm, I declined. We didn’t want to have to pack up all of our belongings and move at this point. Other than that issue, it was a nice 3 night stay.

We have been staying here for over 20 years under different names and ownerships, and I have never seen it this bad. They have become pet friendly, but unfortunately, the rooms are still carpeted in the hallways are carpeted and you can definitely tell there’s animals been in and out of there just by the intense smell and especially in our room, which was a third floor suite. To make matters worse, the headboard has electrical sockets on each side. The right hand side facing the bed did not work at all, but did manage to pull halfway out and on the left side it did partially work and also pulled partially out. The room was extremely dusty in places that should easily be cleaned. Even the vents had dirt on them. The barn door, which you use as a bathroom door and a closet door was jammed so tightly I ripped the skin off my hand trying to open it and the rails were covered in filth. We gave this place another try after two years ago when we went to our room, went out and came back. My wife and myself went to go to bed and there was blood on her pillow. We were hoping that this was just a one time situation incident where they did not properly clean the room, but it gave us the heebie-jeebies on what the heck is going on there. Two years later, we gave it a try again and it was a disaster. They did give us free parking for our problems. Yes they charge $16 a night to park in an open parking spot with no security. I do have pictures and videos or proof.

Musty smelling room , asked for room change nothing available with the likeness of our room. Will never stay there again or use Expedia again with the reaction you both gave us when we asked for refund on the last 2 nights we were supposed to spend there. We checked out Saturday morning and drove back home to Hudson with our 2dogs.

From making the reservation to checking out there’s not a better place to go to vilano beach than at the Hampton Hilton Inn. I asked for the room that I wanted and they delivered. Excellent buffet, music at the pool with tables chairs loungers umbrellas and a hot tub. 5 minute walk to the beach. Clean and updated, it’s our go to place.

Unfortunately, this trip did not own up to the Hampton standards we’re used to. The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was great…the property, however, was not. The 2nd floor air was out and hallway smelled of urine, the alarm went off a couple of times for no apparent reason, the elevator was quite sketchy to where we started taking the stairs, ice machines were mostly out of order, property in general was not kept up, the hot tub was not working, the room smelled of mildew. Like I said, not the normal Hampton experience we’re used to. Hopefully they’ll make some improvements before our next visit.
