Great place to stay in a small downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. Staff was terrific and parking is off street in a lot adjacent to the hotel. The historic hotel is 99 years old and has been updated but shows some minor signs of wear. The hotel was clean as could be.
The staff at the front desk was very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is old but very quaint so you should keep that in mind if you decide to stay there. The only small negative was that the hallways aren’t carpeted so footsteps and voices were more noticeable. However, that was not a huge problem and I would not hesitate to stay there again. Great value for the money!
The entire property was clean and maintained. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would definitely stay here again. Easily walk to a few different eating places.
We had to go to St Cloud’s Orlando Health hospital and that was a 5 minute drive.
Needing a room to sleep while visiting someone at the hospital, this was the perfect choice for us.
It was as expected for a hotel built in the mid 1920s in downtown historic St. Cloud. The people were very polite and the restaurants were amazing and very close.
This hotel is beautiful! Historic charm is maintained throughout the property. The rooms are very clean, the beds are super comfortable. The hotel is close to some town gems like Pop's Ice Cream Shop. The staff were super helpful and recommended a great barbecue place for dinner to my husband and I called Fat Boy's Barbecue. This is the place to stay if you're in St. Cloud.
Its a very simple hotel with two floors and does have a elevator. I stay there all the time when I go to St Clouds. They are very spotless. Luv the history behind the town.
The property was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was great 😊. The room was very cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. The property did seem to have a few little German cockroaches in the bathroom (mind you everything was so clean I was shocked) which took a little charm away but overall a nice stay for the cost.
The place appeared clean, room was very small but cozy, breakfast was cold I like having hot breakfast not cold but some breakfast is better than no breakfast I did see a live roach in the food area I told the staff and immediately she attended to the situation over all it was a ok stay

Very good breakfast; beautiful rooms!
We will be back!
This is a stay in an "historic" hotel so rooms are small and basic. Rooms were clean, including bathroom. Loud window air conditioners in each unit. The remote control for the ceiling light/fan was not working (even after switching batteries), so we had to get in a chair and pull the chain controls to adjust fan speed and/or lights.
Mattress was comfortable but sagged on outside edges because there is only one desk chair in room to sit on. (As a result, folks sit on edge of bed frequently.)
Keep expectations reasonable if you stay here. This is a nice, lower cost, place to stay particularly if you want to experience early 1900's decor and rooms. The l-o-n-g and narrow hallways to the rooms had me looking for a toddler on a red tricycle (The Shining)! :-) Breakfast is bagel/sweet rolls and juice and coffee.
This is a niche older hotel. The hotel has a history, but was also a movie location... look it up. The bathroom is not to a high standard, the a/c unit is a window model. The location is in the old city centre part of town, lots of interesting buildings and very quiet. Great breakfast restaurant is nearby (The Cup Diner), because hotel breakfast was not much to be desired.
