The man working the front desk was the absolutely the worst of the worst in customer service. It started with the greeting he gave us when walking in. He stared and said nothing! Even after my husband gave him our name he just staredand said nothing! He didnt move! It was creepy. Finally moving, he banged on the keyboard, while my husband tried a bit of small talk. Maybe the clerk was having a bad moment?! Not a word back. When my husband asked for a ground floor he said no. Then the clerk began an embarrassing line of question as to why we wanted the ground floor room my husband told him we didnt want to carry our luggage up and down the stair( its none of his business but i have neck and back fusions with Degenerative Disc Disorder no to mention total knee replacement. When he gave my husband the room card he said nothing but wrote 245 on the little card holder. My hubby headed to the door when he was called back to watch the clerk draw all over the hotel map in 3 different colored markers, pointing out the location of everything including the industrial outdoor garbage containers (???) before circling room 244. After a dozen attempts to gain access to the room on the clerks map we realized our REAL room was 245. Im sure the occupant didnt appreciate our repetitive attempts to enter or my rather load swearing.
It set the mood for a horrible stay. We thought about asking for a refund but from who, the guy at the desk.
We certainly dont expect one from management!
