"This was my third time at The Whale! I absolutely adore John’s place! The inside is very comfortable and clean. The A/C works great - stays very cool! The beds are super comfortable and the new fridge makes plenty of ice! The hot tub is my favorite feature where you can relax after a long day at the beach and gaze at the sky filled with stars. The location is awesome - very close to restaurants and the grocery. Also, a walking path to the beach across the street is a nice plus! John is a lovely host and I am so thankful he shares his place at a very fair price. Looking forward to booking number four!"

"beautiful place, very clean but needs a bit of maintenance. also TV did not work reliably, but that's not why we went there so no big deal. Overall I love the coastal decor, old-fashioned B&B feel, and all the workers were exceptional"

"We loved the house! Kids took bike rides daily with the bikes that were provided and loved the pool. With only a few steps to the beach it made it easy for everyone in our party of 14 to be able to enjoy the beach throughout the day without having to pack everything up each time. The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked. There were a few hiccups at the house while we were there, no fault of the owners, with a few of the electronics and lightening prior to us arriving. The owner responded quickly and efficiently and sent help. We have already talked about next years trip back to SGI and the house. "

"First can I say elevator!? It made getting everything inside and to it proper place so much faster. The layout is perfect and everything seems to be just where it should. A home away from home. The beach was beautiful and the pool was refreshing. Definitely “My Happy Place”"
