St. George Island Waterfront Apt., Dock, Giant Saltwater Pool, & Fire Pit

Bahiti is a bayside waterfront apartment with full kitchen. It has the island’s largest saltwater pool and hot tub. It comfortably sleeps 4. There’s a 60 foot dock on the canal. The gulf beaches are a 4-block walk. Free wifi, internet-cable with 2 TV's, 2 kayaks, & 2 paddle boards are included. I offer nice bath towels and sheets, comforter, etc. Basically we treat our guests like we would like to be treated.
There are other rentals on the property, but your apartment is private & there’s space for everyone in the pool & spa.
There is a pet fee based on size, breed, number of pets, etc. We have pets ourselves so we try to be fair, but please inquire before booking.
***Please purchase your own travel insurance. Due to the location and nature of this beautiful barrier island, in the event of inclement weather or any other emergencies, I cannot offer refunds for your stay. Travel insurance protects both of us.***

Kevin provides a spot right off the bay and only a golf cart trip to the beach! We absolutely fell in love with this area and appreciated all the amenities/convenience that this space provided us.

The property is amazing. Very lovely apartment style space. The owner Kevin is awesome. We loved the pool, the hot tub, and the best part was fishing off the dock. We used the paddle board and a kayak to look around the canal. My favorite activity was petting the kitties. This is the perfect place as its not too far from the beach, the restaurants, stores, and shops of the island.

Cozy island option - boat dock was a plus

We met the owner personally. He was very friendly. He answered all our messages almost immediately. The pool was refreshing and being able to pull up by boat was a plus. We were very comfortable. It was a quick bike ride to the beer fest we were attending. We also enjoyed meeting their pet cats!

The inside was overall excellent. It was comfortable and clean (inside). BUT the outside was terrible stuff scattered everywhere, no kayaks like advertised, and bicycles were worn out couldn't even ride one of them. Pretty disappointed. In addition, dogs kept us awake until 2:30 in the morning NOT a good night the first night. The owner refunded half of my first nights stay which should have been a full refund on the whole night, but such as life.

Host was very friendly. We loved the peace and quiet of the area, nice bed, and bedding. The set up is spacious and tidy. They could provide more mugs and a broom and dust pan. The hot tub was not very clean which was quite disappointing for the price!

Perfect for fishing trip!

If you're looking for a brand new, squeaky clean property with a chef's kitchen this is not the one, but if you're looking for a comfortable and reasonable place to stay and fish, with a dock and a terrific host you've found it!

A complete dump, abandoned houses have better curb appeal , rented hotel instead of staying here

I was horrified when I pulled up , trailers and run down boats with flat tires blocked driveway, yard was a complete jungle , garbage everywhere, large dog kept only a few feet from entrance door was growling and barking constantly which prevented me from going inside, called vrbo cancelled prior to check in, yet owner didnt refund but $ 200 of $ 863 I paid for this horribly misrepresented rental. Ruined my entire vacation as I had to go broke renting a hotel 20 miles away onto of the money I had already spent on this dump. I could have saved myself the money and 6 hour drive and went to local homeless shelter, it would have been more suitable than this dump was . SHAME ON THE OWNER FOR EVER EVEN THINKING ANY VACATIONER WOULD BE OK WITH SPENDING THEIR ISLAND GETAWAY IN A PLACE IN THIS CONDITION. SCAMMER , pictures are completely deceiving would not recommend anyone to rent

fun in the sun

My sister, our 2 dogs, and I had a great time here! Our pups loved the host’s dog, Billie Holiday, and Kevin is a great guy and welcoming host. Walkable to the beach and the bay, great sunsets, and a quiet neighborhood. Kevin has built a great fountain/moat in the back that is really cool. Really comfy apartment with great apps on the smart tvs. Can’t wait to go back!!

Pictures can be deceiving

The place was nice on the inside. Not so much the outside.... To say he was doing some work was an understatement. It looked to me like the projects outside would never be finished... ever! He offers golf carts and motor bikes but gives no instructions about how to rent them what so ever as he is apparently always out of town. They looked run down and poorly maintained. I'm very disappointed at the overall appearance of the property, I was looking to surprise my wife with a nice anniversary get away (based upon the photos) and showed up to a disaster!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. St. George Island is really laid back. This property is pretty much exactly what we were looking for and Kevin clearly has put a lot of work into this place. The cats outside were super friendly. We are really thankful for the stuff that was stocked that we didn't think to bring like paper towels. And even pots and pans. The two bikes worked just fine and we biked around quite a bit. There was also a tandem sit-on-top kayak and we kayaked into the bay. The walk to the beach was like half a mile (easy walk), and we were able to park our car like 100 feet from the boardwalk. Great experience honestly, hope to re-visit next year.

Loved this place!!

I came down to Kevin’s place for the weekend with my parents and brother..We have been visiting St. George Island most of my life and it was the first time we didn’t stay in the motel on the beach. This place is perfect! It’s bayside, which meant my dad could fish all day-Kevin let him fish right off the dock, and within walking distance to the public beach (which is still really quiet). The apartment itself is great for up to 4 people, very clean and smells so nice! The kitchen comes stocked with items you might not have thought to bring with you if you plan on cooking. Kevin lives upstairs with his two dogs (who are so sweet) and three cats (who love to roam around and visit- we wanted to take them home!) Overall, the four of us agree that this was the best place we could have chosen to stay and can’t wait until our next visit! We will definitely be looking to stay here again!
