Fort George Hotel & Spa

"I really enjoyed my stay at Fort George and would definitely stay here again. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and relaxing, and the staff were professional and welcoming throughout our stay. One of the things I loved most was that you could easily spend an entire day at the hotel without feeling like you needed to go anywhere. There’s a pool, spa, gym, restaurant, and plenty of comfortable areas where you can just sit, lounge, and relax. It really had that peaceful vacation atmosphere I was looking for. The location was another big plus. There are several restaurants and places within walking distance, and the water taxi is also nearby, which made getting around very convenient. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Fort George. It was comfortable, convenient, clean, and incredibly relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again on another trip to Belize City."

"Our stay here was for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Very peaceful, relaxing and accommodating. The staff was great. Justin and Ervin were great in the kitchen and bar service. The food was excellent and they were able to meet my wife's gluten free diet with every meal. Manager Barry is great and has stories for days. It really felt like a family more than a staff!!"

"Tarpon Sands exceeded every expectation and made our trip to Belize absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made the entire experience even more special. The food deserves a special mention—every meal was phenomenal! Having three delicious, home-cooked meals prepared fresh each day was such a treat. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and made with care, and we looked forward to every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The facility itself was spotless and very well maintained. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of our stay. What truly sets Tarpon Sands apart is how accommodating they are. Whether it was helping with activities, making sure we were comfortable, or simply going the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience, the staff consistently exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with exceptional service, amazing food, and a beautiful, well-kept property, I can't recommend Tarpon Sands enough. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return!"

"Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality.
