"This is our favorite place to stay when in Sioux Falls "

"We always enjoy the pool whenever we stay here. It is always clean and the staff is continually cleaning tables off when guests leave. Everything in the room was clean for the most part. The only thing that made me raise an eyebrow was that most of the fixtures (anything metal) were covered in a thick layer of rust. (Pictures attached) I’m not sure if this is because the room was close to the pool or if these items were just on the older side. We have stayed here before, and in a room about the same distance from the pool, and did not notice all of the rust on the fixtures. As much as we paid for one night in a small room, I would think these items could be taken care of when they are no longer in good condition. "

"Front desk staff were curt and good at ignoring you as you stood at the counter. Their explanation of the parking garage was confusing at best. Left note and tip for extra bath towels with housekeeping...got none. The people make it feel more like the big City coldness you would expect instead of the friendliness the plain states are known for."

"I travel often for work and wasn't previously aware of this new hotel. The Highpoint is associated with the Sanford Health/University of South Dakota Medical campus. I am always impressed by forward-thinking concepts that address needs. In this case, the hotel provides support for patient family/friends, visiting medical professionals and potential students, and business travelers looking for professional, quiet accommodations centrally located. The hotel is affordably priced with an upscale feeling in lobbies and rooms. The city views are tremendous. The highpoint is a great choice for business and personal stays."

"Parking was horrible when the guest that are paying for a room have to park across the road cause they over book party’s and other events. There was nothing for a family to do for the price we paid for two nights plus nothing for breakfast. Not even a cold bar for something. Can say our family will not be staying there again. "

"This is a clean comfortable place to stay. Except for traffic it is also pretty quiet. For the traffic they supply ear plugs, which I thought was very thoughtful. I myself just used my earbuds and had no troubles. Everything you need is there. Comfortable and convenient. "

"Cute 1950’s home with the upstairs updated w a walk in shower and modern kitchen cabinets everything else remains in the original form. We appreciated that the home was close to U of Sioux Falls. The hot water did not work hence we eventually didn’t shower. The owner did not acknowledge when confronted with this issue. We did not use the kitchen nor the appliances. The upstairs beds were comfortable. We will not book this home. "
