I loved the property. It had everything that we needed for the wedding weekend. It is super close to Tower Grove and night life. It was very comfortable and slept well. The closet was even large enough for me to hang my big wedding dress.
The property was clean and fully furnished as advertised. We really appreciated the locking garage space and proximity (walking distance) to local restaurants and shops. The landlord was very response to our needs. Would recommend 100%
Perfect for a medium size group. We had day helpers too for my daughter’s wedding prep. Safe 2 car locked carport. Walkable to bars and restaurants, close to highway, near WashU and downtown. Street parking for extra cars. Since we were generally in work mode, we didn’t need it, but adult son suggested more sturdy comfortable living room furniture to hang out. Otherwise great stay overnight for 6.
Rented the house for a short family vacation in St Louis, great location to get to local attractions. There is a Sweetwaters coffee and tea place that we walked to each morning. The only thing i would have done different are the days, a lot of restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesdays which limited our options. Would rent again!
This was a very comfortable and well equipped rental and we enjoyed stay immensely. The property was very thoughtfully and meticulously renovated. The rooms were spa and quiet. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. The neighborhood was quaint, querky and perfectly located close to a variety of sites. The property owner communication was fast and effective. This was a great stay!
The property was beautiful. Our entire group enjoyed the stay. The home was updated but the living room furniture could have been more sturdy (a chair’s leg gave way as I sat on the chair) and comfortable. JZ Rentals was very responsive to my reporting of the chair and made sure thatI wasn’t injured. The property was centrally located and we were able to get to all attractions within 15 minutes.
I can’t say enough good things about this property! My family, friends and I (5 guests) stayed at this property over the weekend for my birthday weekend to attend the Usher concert.
This place was in the BEST location- we were literally no more than 10 mins away from everything!
The home is beautiful and very well maintained- very clean, well kept, stocked with necessity and spacious! We had more than enough room for all 5 of us!
The property manager was easy to access, although we didn’t have a need to contact them!
If I’m ever in St. Louis again, this property will be the first one I’ll attempt to book!
This property was exactly as advertised and was actually more spacious than expected. We were visiting for a baby shower/to see friends and we were really only at the house to sleep and shower. Everything was very clean, nicely updated and the beds were comfortable. We never used the kitchen but it was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. We didn’t have children with us but there were some toys and children’s items that would presumably make it easier for families. Good location and Ubers were plentiful. Check in and out were simple and host was communicative. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great time staying here. Just a few minor things. The TV in the living room area does not work properly. We were too busy to watch it but still. The couch was extremely uncomfortable but since we couldn’t watch TV and rarely sat there anyway, it didn’t really matter. I loved the master bedroom and bath. I felt like everyone had plenty of room. We really enjoyed being able to grill outside and liked the spaciousness of it all. Everything was very clean, which is huge to me. I would bring some washcloths though. We only had two and had to buy more. Enjoyed our stay.
My family and I (four adults) stayed in this townhouse property so we could be in town for a graduation. We wanted something more than a hotel room so we could have a larger space to relax in. The house certainly provided that--the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the kitchen spacious. A few factors, however, negatively impacted our stay. As of May 2024, this property is next door to the burnt-out husk of a building. While the renters have done everything they could to minimize the lingering smell of smoke, its still noticeable when you first arrive to the property. Also, the car port in the rear of the property is open on one side, allowing easy access to cars parked there from the alley. Lastly, the lounge furniture was a touch uncomfortable. Overall, the property itself is a good weekend get-away but the issues with the burnt-out building next door make me hesitate to recommend it.
We stayed a 5 day week while enjoying St Louis. The house itself was very clean, spacious, and nice to call home for a week. We loved the neighborhood and also enjoyed the location of this house in the city because it was nice and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. We felt safe the entire time. It was also nice having the garage to park in during the overnights. You do need to use the code to open the garage, park your car, hit the opener button in the garage post, and then walk around to the front of the house to enter through the front door if no one is inside the house. But that isn’t too bad because of the walkway and gate on the side of the house. We loved the kitchen and the space we had in the kitchen. We only have 2 negatives about the house, and they are the same as others have said. The living room furniture is not comfortable at all. It was hard to enjoy any extended time in the evenings watching tv after our kid went to bed because the furniture just is not relaxing. I would highly recommend the owners put in different living furniture, because that would have made the stay absolutely perfect. Also, the beds could be better. They aren’t terrible, but also not the most comfortable either. They are just simple memory foam mattresses. We slept well, but it would be nice if they put just a little better quality mattress on the bed that wouldn't have costed them much more to put in. Thanks for the stay!
JZ rentals were great to work with - available and helpful. The house was good size and accommodating. Has inviting well stocked kitchen, beds surprisingly comfortable, and loved having the garage. Well located as easy on/off I-64 close to the zoo and botanical gardens. Overall, a great stay and hope to stay again. Took off one star for combo of things that were not deal breakers: Dead bolt on one of two front doors absent/needs repair (though has knob lock), couch/futon terrible to sit on (worn out), no hooks or closet to hang coats on main floor so coats everywhere:) Also, currently has construction on one side of unit and a trashed/vacant house on other but can tell being worked on - did not bother us.
Loved the house and amenities. The location is in a great neighborhood with lots of great local haunts.
Close to the Metro Station so we had no trouble getting around to see sights around town.
House was exactly as pictured. It was beautifully updated, and very well stocked. The only negative thing I could say at all is the sofa is not comfortable, but we were gone most of the day during the two days we were there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The convenience to downtown, local shops and restaurants was great! Very clean and updated listing! Don’t miss this great property!
Loved the character of this old home. Everything was clean! The beds were comfortable. Very walkable neighborhood. Would definitely stay again whenever in STL!!
