"On arrival our 2 night booking could not be found we were then given a room overlooking a roof directly outside the laundry and cleaners room. When I asked to change rooms the boy on reception said they were full, rubbish, there was about a dozen people in the hotel. The place is old, in need of a massive upgrade in the rooms and there’s a reason the bathroom is not in the picture of the room, it was the size of a broom cupboard with old plastic sink and toilet and the shower would be very cosy...

"Just stay here! Weve been travelling all over norway and i must say this was actually the best hotel we reserved. Beautiful original rooms, huge bath, impecable breakfast (must try their croissant and home made nutella). Oh and grab their strawberries too! The food was 10/10 we had dinner there every single night, and our server “Miko” was the best guide ever."

"L’accueil, le personnel et le restaurant sont au-dessus de tout ce que nous avons vu jusqu’à présent en Norvège. Particulièrement l’équipe en place lors de notre séjour fut exceptionnelle. La chambre donnait sur le lac en arrière, magnifique vue, nous aurions pu y rester plus longtemps. Chargeurs pour RV sur le stationnement de l’hôtel. Merci pour tout. Nous recommandons à 100%."

"Great location to all things Sandane. Easy to walk to dinner or hikes. Breakfast had a wonderful selection and was well presented and maintained. Room was smallish but was in the older part of the building so quite quaint and unique. Good experience and value overall."
