"Nice but utterly soulless corporate hotel, riddled with frequent elements of terrible design. Amazing breakfast, friendly staff (genuinely really helpful with some exceptional requests), and a lovely wellness centre on the top floor (though the exchange of footbaths for any cold plunge is a tad odd). Rooms with the toilet as far as possible from the sink, the taps in such a way that you will wake your partner up in the middle of the night, the angle of the totally non-reflective windows just set so you can easily exhibit your neighbours, no chair, extremely loud air-circulation throughout the night even with the aircon off (and, in our first room, a hammering from the lift mechanism - thank you to whoever organised our switch on the 2nd night), and quite possibly the worst piece of art (Girl with a Pearl Earring ropily photoshopped onto a skater girl of different body size and skin tone, giving a freakishly chibi impression) that they seem to have ordered for every room, given it was in both the ones we saw."

"The property was perfectly fine and in a great location just outside of the train station and close to a taxi stand and public transportation hub. Check-in and out were quick and painless, and they held my luggage for me on the last day. The convenience store in the lobby was a nice touch, and though I didn't eat at the restaurant other colleagues at the event said it was pretty good. The room was enormous and the armchair and reading lamp were a great touch as was the big, full-sized wall mirror. The water in the shower was hot and they had good counter space around the sink for toiletries. The wifi was free but a little slow and glitchy while the closest outlet to a mirror for hair tools was on the other side of the room. Inconvenient, but survivable. However, the room was only superficially clean (with white curtains that had no chance of hiding how filthy they were) and in the 10cm wide nook between the mirror and the wall was a whole pile of dirt and hair, presumably because it was too small to roll the vacuum into. Also, the room was an okay temperature in the day but absolutely freezing in the evening and overnight. I tried turning up the temperature on the wall thermostat but it made no difference. I piled the duvets from both beds on top of me in order to stop shivering. At home, I keep my bedroom at 16/17 degrees for sleep which is what is comfortable for me (I'm from the north!), so it was measurably colder than that even with the thermostat set to 22."

"The property has some issues which are we were told IHG policy. For example there is no way to communicate with the front desk as there is no phone in the room. Therefore in case of emergency ' one could get ill ' and have no way to communicate. When we asked the question in this regard the person on duty stated if you get sick there is nothing to be done. This is Company policy. RIDIULOUS ! Another example we needed some additional towels. The only way to get these I had to take the elevator to the lobby and ask. This is true for any request. Most of the staff was very helpful, however as an example: We stayed for 6 nights. One day we arrived back at the hotel at 3:00 PM to find the room had not been cleaned. I went to the down from the 10th floor to ask for cleaning. The person on duty stated ' we have many persons checking in today so we prepare these rooms before guests' rooms. You will have to wait. No compassion ! Not even a response such as ' let me see what we can do to expedite your request."

"Excellent selection for a week of travel. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness and condition of the hotel as well as the free breakfast. The access to public train, tram and bus transit is excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The lobby was comfortable and inviting at night."
