"My dad and I had such a great stay back in October, we decided to return again last month, this time for a Charlotte Hornets game. Staying here allows us to be close to Uptown, without paying premium, Center City prices. The rooms were even better this time, with beds super comfy as always. Very quiet in this hotel, which is a massive plus. Water pressure and shower amenities are a plus, too. Bacon at breakfast was a much-welcomed surprise! Next time I'm back in Charlotte, Comfort Inn Matthews is the first place I'll look."

"This hotel needs a proper upgrade. It could be a great hotel with the proper upgrade. As soon as you enter it look nice. Getting to the room it wa dreadful walk to your room. I didnt want to touch anything. Clean the hotel from top to bottom new carpet new ceiling tiles so on and so forth could be a jolly good stay. In the meantime i do not recommend. Staff was great though ."

"Stayed 1 night after a show. Clean spacious rooms. Bed was comfortable and nice size bathroom. Only downside was the freeway right outside our window. Other end of the hotel probably wouldn’t be as bad. "

"It was amazing the staff was wonderful. We were having a staycation getting away from our four kids for the night, one of which is special Needs and is 24/7 care. We told the front desk that, and they brought treats to our room. Just the extra touch made us book another stay. "

"I didn't expect too much with the price. However, the staff treated me well and the room looked clean with the exception of a dirty spot or mold by the sink, couldn't tell which. None of that too bad but when I woke up to a roach on the wall, that made me angry and THEN I got charged another $100 at checkout. Staff said it was immediately given back but it still hit my account. That needs to be taken care of ASAP because being charged $100 to stay and to leave is CRAZY! I know she said it was a mistake but after seeing the roach I was pissed and ready to go home. "
