8/10 Good

"This was a great room for the price. Very clean! Shower head was a little wonky but, not terrible. Heard a lot of road noise at night but, I think any motel in that area is going to be right on the road. Very close proximity to Big Trees and Murphys where they have a really cute old Main Street. I would stay here again."

Evergreen Lodge Yosemite

"The style of the accomodations is a bit old, but everything is clean and the bed is comfortable. They offer quite a bit there -- pool + hot tub with a bar, and it looks like they serve all you can eat BBQ poolside. They have 2 L3 chargers that are reservable for 3 hours per guest, but we couldn't get it to work, so I could only L2 charge. They have a general store as well as a coffee bar, as well as a full restaurant. The dinner we had last night was excellent, even though we just had chicken burgers and regular burgers. They were tasty, and some of the best fries I've ever eaten! The staff there is incredibly nice and helpful. Very pleasant people!"

Rush Creek Lodge and Spa at Yosemite

"Great family friendly resort near northern entrance of Yosemite. Most commonly visited park sites are 45-1 hour 15 minutes from the hotel. Great amenities including a game room, pool, outdoor play area. Staff at the recreation desk was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us plan our days. Food is resort pricing but as expected."

Firefall Ranch Yosemite

"Physically the property was pretty just like the on line pics. The rooms lacked storage and for the high price no water or tv was provided. The wait staff was slow and lacked training. As an example, was told the restaurant didn’t offer a latte, but I was free to go Nextdoor to their shop, purchase one and bring it back to the restaurant. That makes no sense as a trained professional would have run over, got the drink and added the cost to your bill. The staff was friendly, but lacked the skills to be as attentive as you’d expect at this price point. Very laid back and seemed geared towards a much younger crowd. A disappointment as we expected better service. At check in, requested the room to be cleaned daily,but it was only cleaned once out of 4 nights stayed. 5 star pricing without the service component will not bode well over time. We wouldn’t recommend for the price."

Arnold Meadowmont Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely place. We last stayed there 18 years ago, and it has since had a nice remodel. The BBQ area in the back was lovely and roughly half of the residents were enjoying it in the evenings. They have some games a few different seating areas, two fires pits and corn hole. The woman who runs the place is great and her dog, Bear, is adorable."

"Location is exceptional, just minutes from the Yosemite park entrance. Owner support from Dan occurred essentially instantly from our few questions. The house is a bit rustic, but comfortable and fits the environment perfectly; and the river element is absolutely unique. Be sure to visit town and find the oldest saloon in CA."
