Upon arrival to our room the heat was turned off. It was twenty some degrees out and took 3 hours to get the room warm. If you know you’re going to assign a room the heat should be on in winter months. Also there were cigarette burns on our bedding. Old food in the refrigerator we threw away and can tell it wasn’t cleaned with care.

The beds were saggy. The coverlets were full of lint and stuff. Floor dirty. The continental breakfast was a couple of bananas and oranges, yogurt in the refrigerator with no spoons, orange juice and no glasses, coffee but no cups, no cereal, no bakery. TV sporadic.

Rips and holes in all the linens, missing a lightbulb in a lamp, light over vanity won’t turn on, room desperately needed a paint job, floor not vacuumed, having to plug in the clock myself, the security lock was missing so we had to put a chair in front of the door, the “breakfast included from 6am to 9am” consisted of granola bars, bananas, and oranges(no cups available near the coffee maker), and no one at the front desk this morning for check out so I could notify them of the issues that we had.

When we first arrived in our room, the heat was turned off and it took 4 hours for the room to warm up to 72 degrees! We had to wear our street clothes and jackets to bed to stay warm. The smoke alarm in the room was covered with a plastic bag. The mattress was lumpy and had springs in it that you could feel. The sheets and pillowcases were well worn and had some holes. We stayed on New Years Eve and the motel was very quiet with not very many occupants. If the bedding had been nicer, and the heat had been on, we would have felt much better about our stay. The room was very clean, as well as the rest of the property.
