Great location, brilliant staff, very quite at night. Good parking alongside hotel. Aldi & Asda 5 min walk away. Breakfast wasn’t available for our stay, so can’t comment but if your looking for somewhere just to rest your had at night then you won’t go far wrong here.

Very clean rooms everything was spotless fluffy white towels a very good hospitality tray toiletries were good quality The staff very helpful couldn’t do enough for you always available if needed . The manager gave 110% of everything . We would definitely stay again if we were in the area . Thank you for a memorable stay .

The location of the Hotel is excellent if you are visiting Beamish Museum. The interior of the hotel was very good, the rooms were clean & well presented, as was the bathroom nice white towels, plenty of hot water. What lets it down is the appearance outside the grass was very overgrown & we couldn’t open the window in our room(13) which made it very stuffy, apparently a previous guest had damaged the window lock, but I think it should have been put right straight away Parking was great and the staff on checking in and out were friendly & helpful Would definitely stay here again

Cleanliness was excellent, no restaurant for most of my stay. Walls in room are paper thin, so can hear everything in next room! Overall, booking in process very good, room was very good… maybe don’t place guesses in rooms next to staff, especially if they are ill and cough all night long!!!
