Pretty average hotel for the price. Check in was easy, reception area is open and welcoming. This is a budget hotel and the quality of the bed, bedding is budget. Towels are appalling, shower was really poor when used at peak times

Loved staying at the hotel. It’s in the middle of the city so it takes 2-3 minutes to walk down to the restaurants, shops and water. I was there for Vaulen Festival and the hotel staff was so nice to recommend ways to get there safely as a solo traveler

Lovely location short walk from central train station albeit very uphill. Hotel has a hip urban vibe and most welcoming and friendly customer service on checking and otherwise. Comfort Hotel Square is located a short walk from the main areas of interest in the city and the main bus and train station. All staff in the reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast on offer each morning was excellent with a great variety on offer. I liked being able to use the gym during my stay too. They have a nice area around reception where you can enjoy a drink, chill out, or even play board games. Nice atmosphere and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

We had a nice, quiet, comfortable room. We were a little warm until we opened the window. We found an extra pillow and duvet in a box under the bed which was needed. The free breakfast was great.

Hotel location was good, staff was great, room has no air conditioner so it gets warn in the summer months. For some reason, bathroom was clean, but toilet smelled like it was not cleaned properly.

Kinda weird with no roomcleaning during a three night overstay. But they had a shelf in the reception with towels and toilet paper. So we en joyed our stay to a great extent. Breakfast top class - never seen better. Pick your boiled egg soft boiled or hard boiled as you prefer 😊 and the scrambled eggs really soft and well made. Recommend.

Would have liked a second pillow. Bed comfortable and linen fine. Towels ok but could do with a freshen up. Breakfast was pleasant and staff helpful. Bit disappointed in the info on add thru hotels which suggested parking available. When arrived this was actually a parking garage immediately below the hotel but not at the fixed price we’d expected. Convenient to the hotel but bit misleading. The staff were a little vague about parking.

Pretty bare bones hotel. Big focus on being eco-friendly, but comes off more as a corporate cost savings exercise. Result is poor air con, no minibar, cheap towels, and room cleaning every four days unless requested. Free breakfast was good if somewhat limited and chaotic. Location wasn't bad, but avoid if you have an aversion to going up hills or taking stairs. Many other options in Stavanger to choose from, so definitely do your research.

Location was great and room was spacious and had most amenities. Breakfast wasnt bad but had a larger selection at many other hotels ive stayed across Norway. This breakfast was lacking just a little in comparison to some of the others. Very disappointed in the staff member named Andreas. I asked him the evening before my departure if i could have a small breakfast to go since i had to depart at 0430 for my flight. He said hed pass along to his replacement on night shift. I should have known when he didnt write anything down. I reminded him again later in the evening and again he said he understood and still didnt write anything down. Well as luck would have it upon checkout the next morning i asked the gentlemen at the desk if he had my breakfast and he said no one told him. Go figure...if i was running a hotel that staff member who took so little effort would have been let go....thats really poor cuatomer service and his overall lack of understanding and job effort affected my review.
