"The owner/manager of this property was very welcoming and understanding of our situation and did everything he could to facilitate us on short notice. The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. "I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I arrived around 6 PM and almost everything was already closed, which was frustrating after a long day of traveling. The gift shop was supposed to open the next day, but it never did, leaving guests with no place to even grab basic necessities. The food was honestly terrible and the menu options were extremely limited. On top of that, most of the staff outside of the front desk were not helpful or welcoming at all. The front desk employees were the only positive part of the experience. What shocked me most was that I couldn’t even get a simple glass of water at the resort. There was no water provided in the room, and I actually had to leave the property just to buy water elsewhere. For a resort, that level of service is unacceptable. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations or price, and I would not stay here again."
