"I was in need of a hotel room at relatively short notice for a basketball tournament that I was refereeing. I came across the Finger Lakes Inn as it was just a short drive away from where the tournament was being held. Nestled in the Adirondack, it is a pleasant and quaint place to stay. If you like the modern "cookie cutter" hotels this is not it. The rooms have a "cabin in the woods" feel to them, and I mean that is a very good way. The restaurant is very pleasant and my food was excellent....

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge at Schroon Lake. Our room was in the West Lodge which was an easy walk to the dining lodge. Our room was clean, our bed comfortable, and high end amenities were included. We enjoyed relaxing on the private covered balcony in wooden Adirondack chairs with a distant view of the lake. The Lodge beach is being upgraded and should be reopened by June 15, 2026. We were impressed how family friendly the resort is with added bunk beds in the room, outdoor yard games such as volleyball, tetherball, a huge chess board, and an included miniature golf course. We stayed before the busy season, and I tried to imagine the resort full of families. It is a wonderful place for family reunions or groups to meet up with so many activities and an easy walk into town. The Lodge staff was all very friendly and professional. We hope to return again soon."

"Stayed from 5/17/25 to 5/19/2026 (2 nights) Parking was easy. Felt safe, dog friendly(traveled with a small dog). Close to supermarket and other shops. Quiet, room was clean and decent. Free cable tv with free on demand movies (I thought that was awesome). Good for the price and short stay. The only thing I didn’t like was the smoking in front of the hotel(by the entrance). Everything else was good! "

"The property itself and the rooms are lovely. We arrived at supper time on friday night. Found no one on site to check us in. Had to call a phone #, which told us i should have received an email with check in information, i did not. Also i had no internet to check that. Eventually got checked in. Door code didn't work. Had to call back, have it reset from them. By this time 7 pm and no restaurant in town open. Drove to Gore Mountain ski hill, food and service was awesome. Sat went hiking returned home around 4pm. Door code again did not work. Called again, this time he called in his housekeeper, waited over 40 minutes to get new code, which only worked intermittently. Very frustrating. On fri night had very loud guests next to us who did not quiet down until 4:30 am, but no one to call to ask for assistance with this. "

"Camp Twosome was the perfect spot to spend a cozy, end of winter, romantic birthday weekend! The cabin is well equipped, with an extremely comfortable Queen bed, a cozy window seat & everything you might need to prepare a full meal. The Highlight is the View!!! Like a 200" TV screen, across from the bed, is the most glorious view of the mountains that you could imagine!"
