We couldn’t get into the property because it has been closed to the public for some time, Expedia obviously didn’t know about that because they kept sending us emails regarding our stay and when we turned up There after a late night ferry crossing we were stuck in the back of beyond and having tried to book other hotels in Dumfries with no joy we won’t be using Expedia again ever!!

Enjoyable stay in this quiet B&B. Ideal location for sightseeing. Attentive staff and excellent breakfast. Nice to see the alpacas grazing in the adjoining field..

Hotel closed down and deserted

We arrived at the hotel to find it closed down having gone into administration. We had to try and find alternative accommodation that evening. No-one had got in touch with me to let me know that the hotel was closed down. Shocking start to our holiday! Not impressed.

Lovely hotel in a great location .

The property was lovely it was an old manse (church house). The staff were excellent so was the food and service. We had a very good sleep there it was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again.

Quaint, comfy and country location

An old style house on the edge of a small village, with nice gardens and a couple of alpaca roaming around. Nice rooms and really quiet both day and night. Great breakfast sets you up for a day touring the area. Not far from Stranraer and Port Patrick so plenty of choice for eating.
