Staff were pretty friendly, but the condition of the hotel has declined over the years. Our room was alright overall but obvious signs of wear on the furniture, and a very dated bathroom with some rubble in the corner and a very scratched door — it looked like a dog had been scratching it. The hallway looked like it was painted/updated since we last stayed, so perhaps they are working on it. The bed was pretty comfortable. This hotel is well-located and so close to some great restaurants, which is why we’ve stayed 4-5 times over the years.

Beautiful historical hotel in the heart of downtown Stratford. Tons of charm but light on the usual modern amenities, but that’s why one would choose to stay here instead of the usual chain hotels. Be sure to check out the Parlour Inn restaurant, it’s like walking back into the year 1900 with a small curated menu. Despite the great food, service staff at the restaurant was however quite standoffish. The only negative of our stay at this hotel.

Wonderful 2 night stay at The Parlour Inn. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend the restaurant. We had 2 dinners there and both were amazing - they offered Prime Rib on the Friday night and I have never seen such a big piece of meat done to perfection! The hotel is within walking distance to the centre of Stratford. We plan to stay here again when we go back to see some plays at the Festival. Nice that parking is free in their lot beside the hotel.
