Kandahar Lodge at Whitefish Mountain Resort

"This is a great place! It is a ski lodge. It is well maintained and has a restaurant and a bar in the building. It has a big sitting area with a fireplace. The only draw back is there is no elevator. If you are staying here to go to Glacier National Park, it is about an hour drive to the west entrance and over 2 hour drive to the east entrance. The staff is great, the best I have ever seen. Free washer and dryer. The breakfast is ok. I would definitely stay here again, but not if I am going to Glacier National Park."

"Beautifully decorated in ski-cabin motif. Nothing lacking in the kitchen. Easy access to major chairlifts. Propane grills close. May be room for four, no more. Queen in master very comfortable. And plenty of blankets if you don’t like the cold. Did not use the Murphy Bed in living room. Sit on your balcony with a beverage and watch hikers and bikers conquer the hill., and skiers in the snowy months. Fifteen minutes to Whitefish."

"What a beautiful, clean, well stocked townhouse! The property has high end furnishings and top of the line appliances and two gas fireplaces. Everything you could possibly need is waiting for your arrival. We had a fantastic trip and it was a joy to wake up and to return back to the home each day and experience and explore the beauty of the Big Mountain area right outside our front door. It is so convenient to the Base Lodge, a few minutes to downtown Whitefish and a short drive to Glacier National Park and many fun small towns and of course the many lakes. It truly is the perfect home away from home.Many thanks to the owners who obviously take great pride in providing a top notch rental in this gorgeous Montana alpine area.A big shoutout to Stumptown Realty for their over the top hospitality and service and excellent communication in booking this wonderful place. "This is one of the nicest places I've stayed. We had 14 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The large Kitchen Island with seating for 8 made it nice for visiting while cooking. The 3 ovens made it easy to feed our crowd. We hope to come back some time."
