We stayed for two days and it was a comfortable room and bed. Location was good and accessible for everything. The hotel was quiet and very clean. Would stay there again.
A clean and somewhat generic hotel in a really lovely town. Breakfast is a basic buffet and everything is no-frills. But the location is great - easy to walk to local sights and restaurants, and good views of the sea and surroundings. I’d stay here again.
I liked the location and the pretty view from our room. Staff was helpful. My only negative comment is that they don’t allow any outside food or beverage in the general lobby area where people can sit and socialize or play games.
The hotel is great and food at the restaurant is delicious.

Breakfast was terrific!
Rooms had a nice view.
But… The elevator was out. Our room was on the third floor so this was very inconvenient. It would have been nice to have help with our luggage under the situation.
FossHotels are high class hotel chain in Iceland. This one is no exception. Easy parking on site. Top of the hill location. Very nice and professional staff. Good clean room with good quality coffee and tea. Very good views. Definitely recommend this place.
This is our third time here. Super comfy room, super friendly and helpful staff, very nice restaurant and it’s dog friendly! A great base to explore Snaefellsness from in your own time. There’s also a real nice local walk if you head down toward the golf course and into some woods. Stykkishólmur is a great place to explore as well with local craft shops and restaurants.
Arrived here after exploring the peninsula for the day. Pretty spot up high. Nice simple room and comfortable beds. Good shower and very nice breakfast. We ate at skippers. Delicious burgers. From here we headed south toward thingvellir national park the next day.
Modern hotel lobby and they have a cute neighborhood cat who's often wandering the grounds. Staff was helpful. Fantastic views and breakfast buffet facing the church. We enjoyed the views from all the windows, so beautiful!
The carpeting could be updated and our room + bathroom was cramped for three. If you're mostly resting for the night this will work.
One of the more "corporate" feeling hotels we stayed in during our trip - just felt a little more like a hotel chain and not as personable when compared to other stops. Room was very nice and the view over the water was great.
Very clean and modern hotel.
Room was very clean and amazing view.
The reception/bar staff were very helpful and kind.
If I was being extremely picky, the only thing that was missing in the room was a fridge. I had my milk, yoghurt & medication to keep cold but other than that. Absolutely ideal place to stay and amazing views.
Would definitely stay again 😁
