"Everything was fantastic! The house was wonderfully furnished, from the kitchen, linens, towels, coolers, bikes, fishing poles, ice machine! The location for us was perfect since my Dad lives right down the road from Venture Out. He picked us up at the store with the boat! The Key Lime pie was a delicious surprise! We will be back!"

"The property is listed accurately. It is a very basic fishing cottage, but clean. It could be a better experience if they would fix a couple things: > Most Importantly for safety, repair the back stairs. The 2x4 holding up the left side is ready to fall off. I was tempted to fix it. > Clean the kitchen cupboard with the pot & pans more often. > Replace the Microwave, the inside bottom is rusting. > Connect the very nice refrigerator's ice maker to a water line. > As it is Mid Summer in the Florida Keys, the little window AC units were struggling to keep up. The kitchen could use it's own window AC unit. > The driveway could use a load of gravel, since it is muddy. My recommendation is for the owner to put a little more TLC into the property, and we may stay there again."

"It was ok.. The good: the house was very clean. The not so good: the house could use some updating. The mattresses need to be replaced, the AC in the front bedroom never worked for me. The ocean front bedroom has no blinds or curtains on the large sliding glass door. If you are an exhibitionist you will love it. The washing machine sounds like it is gonna to tear the house down on the spin cycle. The small pop up toaster doesn’t ever pop up the toast even if you set it on lowest setting. You will definitely burn some bread. The toaster oven sitting on the counter, door doesn’t stay shut. I had to lean something against it to keep it shut and even then it didn’t work great. I never used either of the 2 ovens so can’t really say if they worked or not. The coffee maker doesn’t work at all. If you are planning on bringing your boat just be aware that the bay out in front of the house is very shallow. We have a bay boat so it does well in shallow water. But if you are bringing a bigger boat I am not sure how you would get in and out of the bay. Like I said, it was okay but we will never stay again."
