Yes checked in late. Excellent room amenities. Front clerk attendant is professional. Explained facilities, store open 24 hours. Nice to arrive to this hotel after flyingbfrom shreveport LA TO DC then driving 4 hours to suffolk.

Overall this was the perfect house for our short visit! Very clean and well stocked.Our only complaint was all the snow, unusual for this area. Fortunately we had a shovel and salt with us, which we had to use on the back deck and front stairs.

The Barn was absolutely wonderful!! Exactly as pictured. The photos in the bedroom are so cool, I could have been looking out my hotel video in Vegas. It was perfect for our family gathering. Erik was very an excellent host. We will certainly stay here again.

We also had dinner on the Elizabeth City waterfront and visited Sylvan Heights Bird Park in Scotland Neck. Both experiences were great.
