Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location

We have a lovely stay - our only complaint is that we didn't book for long enough! The cottage is very charming and very clean. Bed is comfortable and kitchen had all equipment needed for food prep.

Beautiful spot at Sunken Lake, NS

Great spot. So comfy, homey and quaint. The fully equipped kitchen has lots of storage and prep space. Bed in cottage very comfy.

Spent 2 nights at the cottage and had everything we needed and more ! Spent one night swinging out on the deck listening to sounds of nature. Hosts were very responsive and location was great !!

Christmas stay

We stayed two nights at the cottage during Christmas. We enjoyed the cottage, nicely decorated and cozy with rustic charm. It was great that it was pet friendly. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with all communication. Would be a great spot to return to in the summer.

Amazing little retreat!

The host and property were both amazing. Great communication and support from the host. The location was beautiful. We didn't use the bunk house but the main cottage was clean, up to date and had great amenities. We went during the winter months, but will definitely be returning in the spring/summer to take advantage of the dock and outdoor beauty!

The owner communicated quickly and clearly. The cottage was on the low scale of excellence because the cottage needs new or upgraded furniture. The dining table was warped, cracked and uneven as well as squeaky; the bench around the dining table has a broken piece off the end; the pull out couch is ready for the dump as its warped and lumpy and saggy; there are curtains missing and curtains that only cover 1/2 the window; the back deck was full of leaves as well as a broken lawn chair for someone to fall through. On a positive note, the setting is beautiful as it sits right in the water and the kitchen is well supplied.
