This is our second year staying at this property. It’s perfect for our family vacation. Staff is very attentive no matter the time of evening that you have a question. Perfect stay for your getaway. Also highly recommend their other properties as I have book several locations not just this one they have all been great.

This unit has a great view on a quiet stretch of beach. Good sized bedrooms and enough bathrooms for a couple of families, friends or small groups. It was nice having too porches as well, with covered parking under the home.

Fantastic property, very well stocked kitchen. Few small issues but nothing too serious. Housed 9 of us very easily. We got married right behind house on beach! Coming back next year and getting both sides!

We had a great stay. House was stocked well & was clean. We didn't see one bug the whole week. The only downfall was the top deck. The railing was very unstable so we were unable to enjoy it with our small children. Otherwise, it was a good stay and beautiful location.

Favorite Holden Beach experience!

We've stayed in many houses over the years but this is by far the best! Beautiful and modern with everything we could have hoped for. The kitchen is a chef's dream with almost anything you could ask for (pots, pans, large pot for low country boil, crockpot, instant pot, wok, you name it!) The couch and all the beds were extremely comfortable, the decor was lovely, and we loved the big Roku enabled tvs. Location was fantastic with such a short easy drive to get to the mainland. Upper and lower decks offer beautiful views any time of day or night. Very kid friendly for our almost 2 and almost 4 year olds, we even found a baby gate for the stairs in one of the closets! Really hoping to come back to this same house for years to come! Entire experience through Vacasa was excellent.

Location was great!! It was a nice duplex. On another note, the furnace filter needed changed. The dust/ dirt was all over my bathroom walls. Every where there was a vent there was large amounts of dust! Our oven had stuff spilled in it, when we used it, black smoke was think , before we even got to use it. We cleaned it. I’ve been coming to Holden Beach for 34 years. This house was probably the dustiest I stayed in. Still we had a great vacation. Just wanted you to be aware of the dirty furnace vents so they can be cleaned.

The house was centrally located and near great restaurants and shopping. The beach view was very pretty from the back deck of the house and there was easy access to the beach. The house was also very clean and a surplus of bath towels was provided. This house will be a repeat rental for us!

Great location - needs some maintenance

This house is in a great location and is great for a group needing a lot of bedrooms. We ran into some issues with the kitchen. A few broken drawers, dull knifes, no shelves in the refrigerator door. Also, be prepared to go shopping on arrival day for basics like Papertowels, toilet paper anf garbage bags. The porch needs some work with some lose boards and spindles. The living room and kitchen are a little small for the number of people it sleeps. We enjoyed the porch and direct beach access. The house was clean and comfortable, provided a lot of towels and lots of beach fun!

We really enjoyed our short stay at Silver linings. Much thought was put into the space and it had a great view of the water and access. There was neighbors on the other side of the duplex but we never heard them so it’s very private. We even enjoyed the comforting story the owner left on the fridge about the silver lining theme. Gave it a personal touch! We’d definitely come back here !

Not quite as pictured but still nice

The pictures appear to make the unit much larger than it really is especially in the living room. That room is considerably smaller than the picture makes it look. Also the decking needs repair, there were several boards that are turned up and one could easily trip on them. Also in the underside parking area it needs to get a good cleaning. The cubby down there is full of things that obviously haven't been used in years and that area gives a bad first impression. That being said the unit provided a nice stay for the 4 of us, the view and access to the beach are wonderful.

Only 1 washer & dryer

Only one washer and dryer for both sides of this duplex. That's 8 bedrooms sharing one set. If you only rent one side, your sharing with strangers. You can hardly open the dryer door to put your clothes in. The washer and dryer are out on the back porch in a very small enclosure. Beware if you put the washer in the wrong cycle it will take longer than the dryer takes. Make the enclosure twice as big, taking out one window each side, making it a door into a stacked set, or small laundry room. Or take out the kitchen pantrys, put a stacked set there. Otherwise home would be a 4.5 star.

Final Farewell Beach Trip for Mom

We planned this trip to honor my Mom's last wishes to have her urn released into the ocean . It was the perfect house for all of us and coincidentally my Mom's favorite color was Turquoise. There were 9 of us and the house easily accommodated all of us. It looks smaller online then it is in reality. We did forget a few items that we should've packed just in case the house didn't supply it. Things like spatulas, extra spices, aluminum foil and Ziploc bags. Thankfully the general store sells everything and you don't have to leave the island. The island is absolutely breathtaking! The yard is made-up of the dunes and the shore! Couldn't be any closer! We hosted a small dinner and ended up having 13 people total and the living and dining room accomodated all of us with no problem. Our crew's fav place was the back porch in the rocking chairs. It is a slice of heaven. If you book this house, I'd say the only thing you could bring to make it better are your own pillows.

The house was not clean when we arrived on Friday. There was large amounts of dust and lint and on the walls and many fixtures, and dirty dishes in the cupboards. When we turned down the master bed there was sand in it, top and bottom, and the sheets were very wrinkled leading us to believe the sheets had not been changed. There were electrical issues, lights kept flickering, and when I used my hairdryer in the bathroom it tripped a breaker to all the bathrooms. (No GFCI outlets) We called with our concerns Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Someone finally came over Sunday afternoon and dusted the walls, changed the master bed linens and turned the breaker back on. At 8am Monday morning while we were packing to check out, a man met us on the deck and introduced himself as the owner. He showed us some mold on the doors he needed to treat and walked into the house, telling us he needed to look for a can opener that was missing from the unit next door. Yes, you read that correctly. The owner came over 2 hours before checkout to “look around” the house while we were trying to pack. We had to pack the car and try to finish checkout chores while he “looked around” inside the house and asked us questions. We would not stay here again.
