"Hotel in dire need of redecoration throughout. Carpets dirty, bathrooms tired, cleanliness debatable. If you're looking for 5 star accommodation this is not for you. More focused at the lower end of the scale."

"Pictures don’t do it justice, beautiful property, lovely location, we had a great stay"

"The staff was fantastic; they kept the rooms really clean."

"Fantastic"

"Room service from the main restaurant available. Room was pretty quiet overnight, bed was firm which was our preference"

Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. I took advantage of the nearby included gym and pool (12 min drive or the hotel also has a free bookable shuttle). All in all I was very impressed."

Great service in the bar/restaurant but needs Guinness back rather than Caffreys Stout! Will miss the lamb skewers from new menu but the new sticky chicken ones are also good. That said a tad less bbq sauce would be ideal."

"Property itself was ok. Parking not a problem. Single room was in the attic and was clean . Only one small radiator that was struggling to heat the room on a cold night . Heating cuts off around 10pm . Woke at 3am cold and had to use the hair dryer to heat my feet and bed . Heating went back on around 6.30am and off again at 9am . You should be able to regulate the radiator to suit your own needs . That was the only problem which led to a bad sleep when I was working on the Sunday after staying...
