Property was clean and roomy. Location was great, very accessible to many local activities. Recommend Phil’s Bar-b-que, Athens Pizza, and the Breakfast Shop. Great stay, friends will be back
Gave us a good spot away from the city for one night. Two couples and one infant fit comfortably. Very clean and had all the kitchen items we needed, including a grill. Very peaceful spot.
This property was clean, very cozy and had cute decor. I also appreciated the small things they had on site for us to use and the ease of checking in and out. Communication was quick and easy, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area!
This home had everything you would need and more. Great attention to detail. We think this is the nicest and cleanest home we have stayed in. Thank you for making this a wonderful stay.
Great, clean updated home. Location was great for visiting Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove.
Everything you need at more was there for you. The comforts of home. We will be coming back!
Stayed at Sheila’s house for a quick getaway to the mountains. Home is centrally located between Asheville and Black Mountain & super close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Off the main highway but close enough to get into Swannanoa to grab food, dinner, etc.
The home was clean and well stocked. Def reco checking this place out
Very clean and well maintained. They provide just about everything...great value. It's close to everything in this region. House is stand alone surrounded by mountains and farms. It's peaceful. Check in was simple. Everything is so turn key that we never had to contact the owner for anything.
In town for a retirement party and a day of fun. The house met all of our needs. If you forget to pack something, Sheila has it there. She even provides for your fur babies.

Short overnight in Asheville
The home was clean and stocked with necessities. Our group of 4 adults really only slept there but our bed was very comfortable and there was coffee available for us to make in the morning before we hit the road again. The other 2 guests did not think their bed was comfortable. Overall, we were satisfied.
The property was in perfect condition, extremely clean and considerate of every detail. It was very homey and had some very cute fall decorations. There were extra blankets, pillows and towels to make it feel like you were really at home and not just staying in a rental.
I spoke with the host over VRBO message several times and she was extremely responsive! Overall this is the best VRBO our family has stayed at and we would absolutely stay again if we’re coming through town! Thank you so much Sheila!
This house is convenient to Asheville and the grocery store too. It’s located on a pretty drive through the Swannanoa Valley. The rooster next door crowed every morning, but it didn’t wake us up. The internet was excellent and there was cable tv too. The owner was responsive and very generous in all the extras she provided. I would have preferred to have had a dining table instead of just metal bar stools, but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
The house was very clean and nicely decorated and host thought of everything you might need for your stay even hair spray I forgot to bring. Lots of extra towels, blankets, and pillows. Couch was worn and house did have a smell I think due to a crawl space. The house was located very close to the road on a no outlet road that people drove very fast on. We had no cell service so make sure you have the code to get into the house somewhere other than your e mail. Overall the house was cozy and we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
We planned a quiet week here and got cut very short with Idalia (hurricane) aiming right for our neighborhood in FL.
However, the house is quaint and mostly comfortable. Shelia clearly goes out of her way to make visitor feel welcome and at home. We brought supplies but the frig and cabinets contained the necessities for a nice stay.
Everything was clean and neat, as a 4 star hotel.
My only request would be for a chair in the living room. there is a great huge couch in place that my bad back hated. I solved this by simply bringing the desk chair out from the bedroom.
We both wish that we could have enjoyed the whole week there.
